Alright! I'm tired of nothing happening around here! Sunday May 23rd? Anybody interested in a ride? I don't know where or what time, but we can make it a twisty/scenic road ride. Probably northeast, maybe in the area of Coshocton. |

I'm up for a ride sometime, but that weekend my wife has a girl's getaway. So I'm home with the kids, dogs, chores, honey-do list, etc... |

I could probably do Sunday, May 16th. Looks like a fun route! How long's the ride (time/distance)? Or how about posting the Google Maps link itself? |

160 miles. Google maps says 4 hours. Add a gas stop and maybe a lunch break in there. |

What are we thinking -- kickstands up in the Reynoldsburg Walmart parking lot at maybe 10am? Break for lunch, back at Walmart mid-afternoon? I'm in! |

We might be up for this. We could bail at Zanesville and head South back to Athens Area. |

IT'S OFFICIAL! COBRA SPRING ROAD RIDE! Start / End: Walmart (Taylor Square Shopping Center) Off of 256 just north of 70: This is Just east of Columbus. There is a Shell Station in front of the Walmart. Shooting for kickstands up at 10:00 AM, so be there with fuel topped off before then!
Route will be about 160 miles. There will be a gas and food stop somewhere towards the middle. Bruce, can we get this posted on the Cobra website? Maybe a group email sent out? I will do some work on my end of things to make sure the route is adequate and find somewhere to eat and fill-up along the path, but this is the rough route plan:

Hey Im not a pro yet on my xb but my schedule is cleared, I might be the slow one but lets get this going No problem at all. My buddy will be joining us on his KLR, he's slow but steady. We'll try to keep it together. Speaking of which, although I'm not going to 'advertise' this ride elsewhere, anyone is invited. If you all have riding friends that would like to join, that is always just fine. |

It's published on the site, and I'll be sending an email out to everyone shortly. Looking forward to the ride! http://www.cobrabuell.com/2010/04/spring-2010-road-ride/ Mike - do you have the Google Maps link to the route so I can post that on the website? Bruce, may want to update the Cobra page, it says there are 8 spots available for the Troy ARC on Sunday May 9th, there are in fact NONE LEFT! My buddy and I took the last two! Advanced Rider Course one Sunday, and then a COBRA ride the next.... It was a slow start, but this season is now taking off! |

My bike has been at farrow's since April 3rd. 2 weeks of it was me being too busy to pick it up, while waiting for an oil filter. Now I will be waiting a bit longer waiting for a big fix. So I may not be able to make it on the first ride. All I can say is Neil saved my @$$ in respect to the work that has to be done. I will now bring my bike to Farrow's for oil changes and minor maint. Anyone have a loaner bike or want a passenger for the ride? |

Jason, Mine is downtown, it is a black 1125CR turned R. Lets just say I owe Neil big time for what he did for me. It is good to have a Cobra member and friend in the Service Dept at Farrow's. Andrew, Thanks for the offer. I'm working on finding a very inexpensive used something with 2 wheels and a motor to tide me over. I'd love to get a cheap XB, but I don't think it will be in my budget. |

There is a Honda CX500 about a mile south of Harrisburg on 62/3 for 900 bucks. I was looking into it and the seam to rack up the miles on them. It would be a great bike to turn into a cafe racer.... |

Farrows has a '09 1125R White and Blue for $5900 Its the one the just put a new motor in. If you know any one that is looking.... I would ask for Zac in sales. He is a good guy and owned a couple of Buells. Hales has few used ones on the floor... I was surprised when I when to there website. http://www.haleshd.com/pre_owned_list.asp?sid=0271 9385X5K1K2010J6I59I43JAMQ1539R0&category=1&mfg=6&M odelYearFrom=1900&ModelYearThru=2011&PriceFrom=0&P riceThru=999999999&ModelSearch=&submit=Search |

That one at Farrows that they replaced the motor on, that is the 2nd motor the guy blew up in that bike, so I guess that would be the 3rd motor in it...... |
