Welcome back to the Northern-Lands Harv! Just in time to get in on the ground floor. I am STILL waiting for a $10 O ring to get here from Hardley for Betty. It has been about 3 weeks... Then it should only be like an hour of fiddleing and she should have no excuse but to run like the little bitch she is. So instead of twiddleing with that Buell, I put my new Barkers and K&N upgrades on SuperBeast. Damn, now I have a superbike. NO lag in response to throttle-call, just very-straight acceleration with no surges. A new bike again! Will post some pic's soon as I can |

Paul, it sounds puuurfect. Not too loud, not a sewing machine! It is really possible that it's mostly in me head, but everything about the bike is Better. I've also ordered the pump gas race ECM from EBR. Most of the guys on the 1125r board think it's safer 'cause it's not as lean. Less leaner, more meaner. |

Good Dog, I've been a workin' fool latley. Hopefully this will lead to More Fun later in the year. I pulled the quiet insert out of the Barker's yesterday for a little putt, and it is even better in this configeration. Can't quite tell what the sound reminds me of. Perhaps it only sounds like an 1125R can sound... it now does smooth power wheeelies with out snapping the throttle open, just an even pull. Most excellent! The EBR ecm will be here today or tommorrow, and then the transformation will be complete; from mild mannered superbike to completly crazy SuperBeast. Got most of Betty back in one piece yesterday. Just a little more fiddle'in befor she breathes again. (Message edited by sparropie on April 04, 2010) |

Galen, I rolled by your place the other day and the pipe looks very nice. I still wanna hear it. You gonna be at the DHD Buell meeting this Saturday the 10th? Would be good to have you join us. I believe we're meeting @ Mick Kelly's this time with a ride afterward. |

Hey Harv, Great video. This is a great lesson for everyone. When downloading a route from Map Quest, be careful using the "shortest distance" option. Chris |

Thanks Galen, for the info and respect. I've been trying come up with a name for my new R also, something that works with the current fleet: The Silver Bullet and The Two wheeled Hummer. Chris |

'er, the Two Wheeled Hammer? hahahaa, er,burp. I changed the rear tire recently, to a Power Pilot, and I like it a lot better than the Corsa's. Not really sure why. I have a pair of the Power 2CT's sittin' in the corner waiting for attachment a little later in the spring... Sadly, I don't expect to have a drivers liscense much longer. Not riding THIS bike! It is the most snappyest, hyperactive gizmo I've had the pleasure of riding. This year I start the season with much more seat time on an 1125 than last year, and the bike feels 'lighter' the more I ride it. More 'I think it, it does it'. Nice. Plus, most of my fractures are healed from last years impacts, and I'm barley limping anymore! hahahaha... And I'm sticking to my New Years res to not break bones this year, so far with great sucsess!

So I snapped a belt today... Not too far from home, Debs comming to pick me up. Betty made it over 40 K. This monster only 6. Desperation sez they will warenty it. Gona have them do the clutch weep since they have to ORDER the belt anyway. And the pod, and the CaliCan to stop the fuel drip, and the hi beam flasher, and that might be all... |

I think I'm on belt #5 now... Does Destination finally have a Buell factory-trained tech on the 1125R? They didn't last I knew... Downtown H-D/Buell does. |
