Hope you guys had a great ride. My 400 mile total was mostly this:  97 miles on Hwy 60. I think there were all of 2 curves over that 97 mile stretch. But also did a bit for a California elementary school with a Flat Stacey. The instructor enjoyed the multiple shots I took with Stacey. We had to make her a helmet, but forgot a jacket for her. Mike, I pm'd ya, saw you and a few others on HWY 60. I was going to try to make it to Tin Butt but wife reminded me of previous commitment (to her!) Just as well, let's see....50 miles on HWY60 to turn around and go 97 miles back the other way!! Hope to see you all next month. Brian | ||

Well folks...it's footpegs down for an old friend...Brian Chenault who rode with us a few times...he rode the blue ZX10r. I called him Foghorn Leghorn for his loud booming voice...The guy could be as gritty as sandpaper or as kind as could be...one of the smartest people I ever met, and absolutely the most bull headed...would help you in a new york minute if you needed it and tell you to man up and deal with it when you needed to hear that too. He took his own life in this time where most of us are enjoying the holidays as so often happens...I don't know what drove him over the edge...but I miss him and hope he has his peace now. Cherish your family and friends, thank the Lord for the good things in life, and remember that all things pass...and if life gets too rough...find some help...work the problems out...because somebody cares...know that, believe it. I will miss him...he was a good friend to me for over 25 years...I suffer pain from his passing, as does his 17 year old son and ailing mother and so many people that knew the real him... Adios old friend...I will miss getting my doors blown off on the straight bits...my pegs are down. | ||

Got a phone call from Smooth at Seminole HD/Buell today. They have a new 09 XB12SS they will sell for $7500 said if I bought today (1-6) I could get for $6900 so that means they will probably sell it any day for same! Just in case any one knows someone in the market. | ||

they sold me my 12r for 6700 out the door back in november. was out at lakeland yesterday looking at firebolt32's bike and it looks like they still have a uly out there. no tag on it so i only assumed that it was for sale. | ||

My business partner and I are riding over to Daytona from Port Richey area on Sunday 2/28. If anyone wants to meet up with us, we will be stopping at HWY 52 and I-75 and having breakfast at the Flyin' J truck stop. We should be there around 7:30am and will be leaving sometime just after 8 am. From there we will travel north to Hwy 50, then east to Groveland. From Groveland north on 19 to Eustis then 44 east Deland. Then US92 into Daytona. We will head back later in the afternoon. Anyone want to ride over with us? | ||

Mike - Slight change of plan. Still riding over on Friday and staying the night, but my wife is coming over in the car, meeting me there and we are staying at a hotel on Daytona Beach for the night. So, if you still want to ride over let me know. I was actually thinking about leaving an hour or so later since Neil (Neverenuf) won't be getting out of work until 9am. He expressed an interest in riding over. | ||

Whats up guys? I live in Apollo Beach just a few miles south of Tampa. I have a 96 S1 that I just picked up. It is in the shop "Dead Sleds" fixing the fork seals and the neck bearings from previous owners "wheeleing" , a word? Anyways Ive rode my whole life and have the scars to prove it. Anyone wanting to ride over to Daytona tomorrow (3/5/10). We will meet at the convenient store/gas station on the NE corner of CR54 and US301 in Zephyrhills. Be there by 8:15am. We will gas up and leave before 8:30am. We are meeting a group from Ocala area in Altoona at 10:30am and then ride on to Daytona. | ||
