Matthew- it's easy to find, it's just off I-20 east of Columbia. You can either take 521 north from Sumter up to I-20 and head west, or take 378 west from Shaw to 601, head north on 601 until you get to Screaming Eagle Road, follow that to Spears Creek Church Road which crosses over I-20. It's 30-40 miles depending on how you go. They're pretty Buell-friendly and say they will continue to support Buells in the future. Chuck is their Buell sales guy. |

Eryc- Woohoo! Maybe we can outdo the last big snow we had: I was a junior in high school that year. We had a couple of feet at home (Williamsburg County, SC) and even deeper drifts. We were out of school for a week. We had a blast! Let it snow, baby! |

Well, you can imagine how we reacted. The most I had seen before that was probably an inch or two twice in my 17 years. It was truly amazing and one of the best memories I have of growing up. |

Cool! Hope everybody enjoyed it. Our power went out about 9:30 PM last night- a consequence of ~4 hours of rain, dropping temps, and then snow. It JUST came back on (4:40 PM Saturday). Spent a couple of hours this morning pulling a limb from my neighbor's tree away from my house. Unfortunately it's still hanging smack over the middle of my driveway. Pulled my little 1250W generator out which hadn't been cranked in ~4 or 5 years, got it fired up and powered the fridge and a couple of lights most of the day. Got a fire going in the fireplace which was enough to keep us warm as long as we were right in front of it. Glad to have the juice back on! |

Well, now we all get to be sandblasted for the next while. I cannot believe how much sand the government put out. Looks like they moved Folly Beach to I-26 and 526. Ughhh. |

Just think of it as a cheap exfoliate; good for the skin in the dead of winter. |

today had to be the scariest day on my bike. I was ridding to work on a road with 2 lanes for each direction.( clemson to I20 over the bridge by two notch). i was in the left lane and there was a car in front of me and a cop in front of him all in the same lane. just after the bridge there is a road that you can turn right on and there was a motorcycle cop there with someone pulled over. once the cop in front of me got directly across from them he hit his lights on, braked hard and turned right to that street crossing both lanes. the car in front of me had to slam brakes on and slid sideways and i had to do the same. there was a car on my right and i had to cross the yellow line to not hit anyone while cars were coming the other way. i am glad that the car traveling the opposite direction was in his far right lane. I wanted to stop and confront that cop but i think for my level of anger i would have been restrained for being to loud with him. stuff like that just makes me mad. it is 45 mph on that road and thats what we were doing. he could of pulled over like a normal person and did a u turn to assist his fellow cop. |

LEOs in their cars seem ALWAYS in a rush to go somewhere, regardless of lights/siren and reality. |

I would have gone back and got his squad car number. I would have at least made a report to his superior. |

Thank God all is well now and no contact was made by you or the bike. Clean out the drawers and go forward. |
