Tank and Jimmy Saturday and Sunday were good rides, but the 500 mile weekend burned up what was left of my rear tire. Well worth it though. If the weather is clear I'll post up for another ride this weekend, most likely Sunday. If I'm lucky they will be replacing my rear tire on Saturday Mike | ||

Mike, I was planning to make this, and it's going to be a good day for it! But I got too much stuff to do round the house, and it's literally piling up! Gotta do something about it, or I won't be able to get the bikes in or out of the garage. Think about me when you're haulin' down the ferry road! | ||

Doug I burned up my tires last weekend between Saturday and Sunday rides. I knew about the rear tire and got it replaced today and noticed the front was bad too today. I ordered the tire but it won't be in till sometime next week. I'll check gain in the morning if you are up for the ride. Worst case I just put more miles on the V-Rod. It sounds great with the new Supertrapp Fat Shots slip-ons. Tank I got stuff I need to do also but I'm too immature to do my chores. Mike | ||

Sorry Mike, still down. I had a tree that lost a big branch into the neighbor's yard. I think I pulled/pinched something when I climbed up with the chainsaw to clean up the mess. I need to find a chiropractor/masseuse that works weekends ... | ||

It's al good , but you guys missed a good one. I ran through the first part of the Pungo Loop. Then out to the Knott's Island ferry over to N.C. down to Kitty Hawk, fueled up and started back. Jumped over the Elizabeth City back up 17 to Ballahack and on to Indian Creek for a little more of the Pungo Loop. I'm not sure but I think I put in somewhere of 240-260 miles today. We'll try again another nice weekend | ||

Thanks for letting me know what I missed. I spent a good 14 hours loading the ship up with fuel and doing the same tomorrow. Really wish I could have made it, but I did ride a little tonight after work...was just a little cold out. | ||

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!!! I've got new sneaks for the S1W and looking to make them older sneaks. 10:30 @ SSHD. No real route planned yet may Elbow out to Mt pleasant and then onto the back half of the Pungo Loop. Possible trying Sand Banks in Suffolk if I can locate it. Doug BadWeb was for the bike names but we have been i Bad weather also. NOt really looking forward to being wet and cold. NO one else posted. I'm going to be at SSHD at 10;30 ish to see if any one showed then I thinking about riding out to Hoss's for lunch, no twisties just straight slab. You are more than welcome to come along. Rob It was nice meeting you and when your confidence improves you'll be looking for those 15mph turns. Becky You did well today, it was good seeing you back on YOUR bike. yeah mine went out Thursday evening and didn't return until Sat morning sometime. Really makes you appreciate electricity. Cannot ride this weekend, have to study for a certification test on the day before Thanksgiving. | ||
