Mike doesn't have any plans of doing anything with the knee...citing the down time for corrective surgery would take too long....According to him, he's feeling better already and will use a knee brace for the support | ||

Christmas came early for me today in the form of a set of Dowco fastrax saddle bags for my girl RUBY!!! Of course I had to test them to the limit and see what the speed rating is for them... 135mph, and not a single problem!!! I sure am going to miss my backpack! | ||

my brother definitely has a torn acl-no surgery planned but not well enough for rides my grandfather passed away yesterday and we've been trying to tend to Christmas and possibly getting up to Jersey for funeral so been very busy hope everyone is well Merry Christmas to all probably wont be back on board til after holiday | ||

Nope I got away. The neighbors down the street shot the big fat alien at 5am christmas morning 5 times; no lie. Woke us all up. Anyway I would like to take a group ride sometime this weekend although my girl is coming into town and is still pretty green on the back, especially on the Buell, meaning I don't know what yet. Anyone have anything planned let me know. | ||

I have to work saturday until 5, I am off all day sunday, I do have a meeting sunday night, I have to be there around 6, other than that as long as we are in broward county I am down for a ride. Plus my Ruby loves running in the cold weather, and we are supposed to be getting plenty of it! | ||

its almost too cold to ride, but I did say almost! ran some errands on the Scg Tuesday night and rode the CR Sunday afternoon with Christian for about an hour- definitely need to find better gloves! I saw your post about that Amy-amazing how Northerners always suggest heated grips and heated gloves-makes sense if you have 3+ months of sub 40's but this is Florida's longest cold spell in 30 years and pretty useless for us who need them only for a total of 2 weeks a year. I've tried several pairs of "cold weather" gloves-some made me feel like a hockey player and yet none have worked well enough. the CityX and Ulysses hand guard with a liner and glove might be our best options. anyways I'll still experiment til I find a better solution. the family is fine with the "loss" we haven't been that close with my grandfather but he is still family soooo Mike is improving but I haven't talked to him for a week or so James or Chad probably know better than I about his condition I'll be up for riding-I'm just a little brain dead from the cold so give me times and places and I probably will be up for it-not much in the decision making mode right now. oh yeah, BTW, Sunday the ambient intake temp reading on the CR was about 47 and it is located near the radiators-when stopped it was reading 79 so it was pretty damn cold. those who are up for riding after 5pm or so shoot me a ring-305-495-4174 a very cold MyronBNasty | ||

been working frantically on the house with friends coming over to help and bustin arse until 8-9-10 pm every night been almost too tired and sore to ride. managed to get a short ride in Sunday before the rain-CR is 40 miles away from first service and completion of break in period-then I can go WFO and truly scare myself. anyone want to ride tonight? I plan on making it an early day and wrap things up by 5. | ||

i talked rob away from the grand theft auto and we headed to hooters, but we didn't stay long. we were definitely gone by 8:30. there was an interesting chromed out blinged out r1 there, it was ok to look at, but i couldn't own it, too much time washing!! not enough time riding! |
