Matt...I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. I could give you a referral to my 6yo to make sure... |

Phil, when are you getting back? I'm looking forward to that warm weather myself! |

I get back late night on the 23rd... The only bad thing about the weather is putting on all your gear and riding in the hot, miserable heat in the summer time...but, we get that, PLUS humidity, in VA... |

Jimmy! Thanks for making the search for an XT all the more necessary. I have an opportunity to ride out to Pasadena next Nov and to tell you the truth, finding an XT to trade my Scg in for is looking tempting. Having all 4 of the body styles in your garage, if you had to pick between the X and the Ss and could only ride one from then on out, would the Uly be your choice? I guess what I want to know is, is there anything you can do on the S that you cant do on the Uly? |

I will put it like this for you Mel, if the uly was my first bike I would not own another Buell. I thought the ss was comfortable until I rode the uly, now I feel cramped on the ss. Becky and I took a trip up to Harrisonburg Va on it, we went through some corners and when we got to the top stopped to take a few pics. She asked what the scraping noise was and then she proceeded to realize it was footpegs. The uly is phenomenal piece of machinery and is touched by no other. Of course the 1125 will out run and out handle it, and it just is not a badass as the x1 but it definately out does my ss any day. Recommended hands down over any other Buell I own. P.S. We had the bags fully loaded also. Jimmy (Message edited by bishopjb1124 on January 11, 2010) |

Sup folks ! Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I've been down with sickness for the last 12 days. I just returned to work. Long story short, I ended up at the clinic with strepp that required a bicillin shot and I was down hard. I'm in school again full time sooo Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays I'm in class. Talk to ya'll soon and is it spring yet? (Message edited by goody on January 14, 2010) |

I need some help...I am looking for a carb manifold to fit my xb12r. My XB is being used as a donor for a custom build. I am converting the bike to carburetor and need a manifold. Harley tells me I can use the manifold off of the S1 and other tube frame carb buells. Older sporty manifolds will work as well. Harley part # is 27004-88A. Thanks for the help!! |

Any one have any brilliant ideas for a ramp for a trailer? I was thinking a 6ft length of 2X4's 3 or 4 across with some more 2X4's underneath holding them together...say every two feet? |

I'll need something I can take to Vegas...going to head to lowes next week and pick up some wood. Not sure what to do for the junction of the ramp to the trailer though. Thinking some heavy duty eye bolts on the lip of the trailer and hooks on the ramp? Need to go back out and look at the trailer to see what options I have... |

a piece of 1/8" flat metal could bridge the gap, or i used some angle iron on the end of mine. lemme root around some in the yard, and see what can be found. |

advance sells, and i think harbor freight has it also, is a bent lip for 2x4s that bolt to the wood to make the junction for the ramp. i know that probly doesnt make much sense, but if u go look at advance it should be in the area with the truck stuff. oh it cost like $30 bucks i think, and advance does military discount also.. |
