DAMN! Life's repeating itself.
I posted this on January 29, 2002, "Wow! Noone's posted anything here since New Year's Eve! I can see some of us are still visiting the site and posting in other areas.
Just wanted to see a 2002 date as the last post by our club's name :P

To those in the Michigan area who are going to the Baldwin Blessing of the Bikes: My wife and I have a cabin very close to the airport, and we offer an open invitation to our friends who need to get out of the sun (or rain or even snow)! Clean bathroom, maybe some food and liquid refreshment, too! Not trying to make any money- just being friendly. This is actually the social highlight of my year... Since my last post here on 1/9/03 (scroll up a bit) no one from our group has posted (ROFL).
The 5 posts between this and my last post were by folks who aren't even part of our klan. Oh well, we're too busy meeting each Tuesday at Shield's  and livin' for the next track w/e.

On June 20th Wolverine HD/Buell in Clinton Township Michigan (Michigan's LARGEST HD/Buell dealer) is hosting A ride "Freedom Ride" to help support the troops and families of Selfridge Air Base. Early entry before June 16th is $20.00 and $25.00 the day of the ride. You get a free T-shirt. We meet every Tuesday from 7 pm onward at Shield's in Southfield (Telegraph & 10 Mile Roads). Maybe I'll see you there tonight.

Given the weather, I think most of us will be there on 4 wheels. If you can't make it, that's fine. But don't let lack of your bike hold you back.
Just so I didn't misrepresent us. We meet on Tuesdays to drink, eat, drink and do bench racing. It isn't a gathering for an evening ride. Rides are typically on Sunday mornings or lately everything seems to be at the track during a STT event.

Wow. I hadnt been outside all day, didnt even notice the weather. gotta luv michigan weather. I will keep you guys in mind if I get a chance to make it up there. I work in livonia off of plymouth and levan, so it wouldnt be to bad, but if wife wants to come, its gonna be a pain. |

Again this year, My wife and I extend an invite to any (not just Buell) riders going to the Baldwin Blessing of the bikes. Free food, drink, shelter, tools, clean bathrooms. Hellooo, anybody still out there? I've returned from my 40cc adventure.
Somebody get me back in the loop again! Has everyone turned into track junkies or are there some rides planned for this year? Is "Pappy" still at the helm or has it been handed over to the dealership?
Miss you guys, but Tuesday's suck for me anymore. I'll be at the Motor City Street Bike Challenge in 2 weeks, hope a few of you will be there. |

I know it's kind of short notice but I'm having a Sportbike day at the dealership Oct 8th,10-3:00
I had about a day to put this together. You can help me pull it off by coming!
So far I have planned,
Sportbike bike show
Helmet toss contest, men's and women's, see who can throw my old helmet the farthest.
Burn out pit available for those so inclined, it's almost winter here in Wisconsin so might as well burn that tire!
Specials on bikes,t-shirts,hooded sweatshirts,parts
Buell demo rides!
Food of some sort, not sure yet.
Band? Working on it.
More details to come.
Who can come?
