Hey All! It's early, but mark your calendars for Version 4.0 of the Annual Res Ride (Reservoir Ride) in and about Altoona, PA. The dates for the 2010 version will be Friday May 28th and Saturday May 29th. Preliminary plans are to change up the ride routes a little (still hitting the good parts, but adding some new favorites) and also add a cookout at NittanyXT's place on Saturday afternoon. Don't worry about missing Clem's BBQ. Plans are to get a big pan for the cookout as well as ride to their new location Friday night for those coming in on Friday. Most of the guys stayed at the motel 6 last year. Altoona has all the major hotel chains if Motel 6 isn't your liking. Currently the price per night is $47.99. Tom and Joe's (http://www.tomandjoes.com) Diner is still a go for Saturday morning breakfast. More details will follow. Any Q's can be PM'd to me or post up here. Look to see you then! Mark, it is the 28-29 right? Why would we have to study up on it on the 25th, that is just too far in advance. Probably will have to look into it by the 26th though! |

www.wrightscampground.com It's about 1/2-3/4 mile from the Motel 6, maybe 1/4 mile from the WalMart Their rates are $23/nt for primitive. 2 guys go together and split the room at the Motel 6 for the same cost, you don't have to bring a tent/gear and you get your own shower. |

Toona can't do Homecoming in 2010 unless I'm not scheduled to teach we'll see. I'll be coming back from the Rider's Edge CIW instructor update and womens riding event. That all ends May 23 then ride (tour) the great lake Huron on my way home If I could flip the 2 weeks around to do homecomming I would I thought I saw June 16 and 20 (Message edited by babired on November 27, 2009) (Message edited by babired on November 29, 2009) |

So Dan, I get the feeling that you might be thinking that we could maybe smell better if we are not camping?? It makes sense with primitive vs camp sites that can be split. $23 is a bit steep to park a tent. Mark.....are you claimed for being a roomie? |

So Dan, I get the feeling that you might be thinking that we could maybe smell better if we are not camping?? Vern, I personally don't care what you'd smell like after camping, I'll be out in front leading the rides, can't say the same for those riding behind you.... |
