I posted this over on XB and Bartimus suggested I post here too. I'm driving my truck to Mesa (from Zillah WA) for the Christmas break. I'm taking the XB12XT. My bike is still under warranty but if I have problems what are the best Buell shops in the Mesa area? I'll be riding some of the local areas like Globe, Tortilla Flats, etc, Any other good areas? Also, if any of you want to meet up for a ride/coffee let me know. I'll be staying with my folks in the Apache Junction/Mesa area. | ||

where is the white S2? I called Dallas. they had sold six cr's in one day, and only had a red one left. we were discussing and he was going to call me back with some numbers. It was late, so I am going to call him early on Friday, when they reopen..we will see. I might need to fly to Dallas and do a ride back if I buy the bike..REX | ||

I bought the O.S.B.com tuner for it... I did run the pipe for about 2 weeks w/o a tuner and the bike ran very well but on a cold start up it would backfire thru the exhaust really loud (gunshot loud) and die... it would only do it on cold starts and only the first try... after that it was fine and if the eng was warm no prob? If I cracked the throttle a bit on cold starts it was ok as well...? With the O.S.B. no problems! | ||

I can probably do that... The 9SL is certainly a sought after model. I had a heck of a time finding one for Debbie. (her's is the sunset orange one in my pic of bikes above) We picked it up for $3000, and would have been willing to give you the same for yours if you had replied to my emails... While I was searching, I found many others that were also looking, and some are still looking. You might do well to post it in the Badweb classifieds. If you sell it, I could cover the rest, although I'm still waiting on that payment for the seat you got from me. Not sure if I could throw out another 2500 - 3000 and wait the same length of time for a payment to be made... Then of course, you would have to ride the new bike, or it would end up like your SL, Dead battery, and covered with cobwebs. Oooooooooo...forgot about that seat (since I never sit on it!) I wasn't serious about tradin' the XB anyways. I'm in no shape to be buying something new...in fact that's why I don't want to sell the XB. It's free and clear and I don't see myself buying anything new anytime soon. I'd rather have it in the garage in hopes of getting back on the road than getting a couple of grand for it... You want to get together next week for a  ? | ||

I'm off Monday thru Thursday this coming week. I'll probably ride up to Prescott on Tuesday morning. I work four days on, then four days off, so I'll be working the next three weekends. I can get together in the evening too, if your allowed out when it's dark.  Have you seen Wyckeds ducati yet? | ||

All of the 1125's at Chandler are the CR's. I believe they are all Black. I believe. REX This week. Monday thru Friday busy at work. Friday thru Sunday. setting up for the Cardinals game this sunday. Bart. The CR seems like it has some drive line lash? I thought with the belt and the pulley, there would be none. Just seems that way to me. REX | ||

Brian, Debbie and I will be there at 6PM Rex, I agree, I think the lash we're feeling on the CR's is in the engine itself, not the final drive. Have you ridden an XB? There is no Lash in the XB bikes. | ||

I have not ridden an XB. Just my tubers and the new Cr. It is much louder than I would have imagined also. I start my triumph up at 10 pm, and I am the only one to hear it in the neighborhood. I started the CR up last night, and wondered if the neighbors were going to come out...ahahahhaha. REX |
