Ouch, Glad to hear you only had minor injuries. Don't worry about the bike , it is replacable. You may want to look for an 1125r/cr. What all were you wearing, full leathers , jacket, jeans , shorts flip flops? Just wondering as you said you did a Superman with a twist , that sounds pretty hairy. Again , its great that you are OK and hopefully there are a few more days to get out this year. |

Two reasons I won't get a CR: Mirrors/turn signals. Can they be replaced? Scary powerful. 12S is just right for me, I don't need to go any faster on the street. |

Jose, How can the mirrors be converted to a less hideous configuration? If there's something better,I might seriously consider getting a CR. |

Where'd you guys go? I was able to get out for a couple hours in the area north and west of Olney and north and east of Gaithersburg - just a quick ride to some classic near-in roads: Sundown Road, Jennings Chapel Road, Zion Road, Howard Chapel Road, etc. Fags galore...it was about 65 degrees, after all. Been feeling a weird and subtle "hesitation" in my Uly's ride...wondering if it's a bearing issue, engine issue, or what. Anyway, it's coming time for a new rear tire and the 15,000 mile service, so I may just have all of that worked on. |

Just wondering...Harley announces that they are ending production of Buell motorcycles on Thursday. The dealers in the area are sold out by Wednesday. But when I go for a 200+ mile ride into Delaware, on a 75 degree day in November(!), I don't see another Buell on the road! What's up with that? These bikes are a lot more fun on the road than sitting under a cover in your garage hoping it appreciates in value. Get out and appreciate the ride! |

Ras- I have no damage other than my right side handlebar is a tad bit crooked. My passenger pegs and frame puck kept her off the ground. =) |

Does anyone know of a local place that has a good selection of full face helmets from various manufacturers? Everywhere I have been has a pretty limited inventory. The best place I have found is Hanover Powersports in Hanover, PA. |

Battley Cycle has a good selection. Give them a call. If you can wait, at the IMS there are always deals on helmets. |

Ras, sorry to hear about the crash. From your description sounds like a total loss, depending on your insurance coverage. On a brighter note: Not sure if you have noticed or not, but I posted up the dates for the 2010 version of the Res Ride at the top of the Storm Front page. Come one, come all for some great rides, great friends and great food! |
