Pompano's had it for over 3mos. Every tech in the shop checked it out. I had to walk them through the whole thing without stepping out of line(pissing them off and compromising my job). Buell finally stepped in and fixed the bike. Or so I thought, it idled at 2500 rpm and puked the primary fluid all over my driveway and my hand through the hand controls. It was missing screws all over the bike, parts were mounted wrong...... So I gave it back and let Buell's advanced care team with Eric's top tech take the reins. They have the whole place on notice no one will even look me in the eye now and i know that the whole bike is getting checked out very thoroughly. that bike will be perfect when I get it back. | ||

Still job hunting. Been looking at security again. This time I have my 'd' license back. Well, at least a temp card. Lot's of resumes, but no callbacks. Getting harder out there. Couple other irons in the fire for maybe. Buell is back up and running. Rode it last week down to the beach and back. Finally got the front brake fixed on the softail too. | ||

I heard they will close Pompano in a month if they don't get a buyer, Eaglerider reduced me to p/t and won't pay crap so i've been looking too. Everyone's trying to scam me or pay dirt, I won't even give them my resume until they prove they are legit. I've been using craigslist but make sure to hide your email or anonymize it if you use it. There are security jobs on there too. What's a d license cover? | ||

D license is for Unarmed guard work. I have for sale or trade: Lightning SS stock seat. Lightning SS sport seat (Orange sunglo) 05 Lightning stock seat. I also have footpegs for a Firebolt. Hows the motorcycle job market down here in South Florida? I've been traveling for the last year and am now settled back in South Florida (for now). Seems the m/c industry is drying up real quick down here. Motorcycles are all I know and it looks very bleak finding a gig in the biz. | ||

haven't chimed in for a while-the house is keepin me preoccupied-still lots to do but makin progress. anyways how is everyone? the news of Buell is sad indeed, but the massive selloff from dealers presented opportunities for me and my brother Mike. last week Mike picked up what I call the oxymoron combo a 2010 XB12R in villain black with hero blue wheels for $6500 OTD and this week I picked up a black 2009 1125CR for $7000 OTD. these deals came from Black Widow HD in Port Charlotte from a very professional salesman named Joe Revak-they still had 2CR's an R and a bunch of XB's. wish all is well and we'll see ya at the shows. rumor has it by the way that Cafe27 is having Thurs night shows with bikini contests every week-will check it out and keep u guys informed | ||

Hey Tepiddeath- I see you checked out the Badweb as I suggested and good to see you signed on. most of the Buellers who check in on Stormfronts are in Dade although I do sometimes get them to ride up here. at times we meet up @ the Hooters in Pines show on Wed nights-usually Thurs down in S Miami @ Betty's Best Burgers(formerly known as Fuddruckers) it was good chattin w/ you at Cafe 27 thursday night and maybe we can get some of the more southern Buells to show there a little more frequently. Christian and I both live in Broward. hope the Badweb provides you with whatever info you seek and we'll be ridin soon | ||

I had to take Ruby to the dealership this evening, the battery strap is broken, the end piece is gone, and yesterday this problem started that I would fire the bike up and it would die after 5 seconds, then she would idle funny, like cycle high then low, it happened a couple times today, so I took her in. I feel lost without my baby. They should be done with her tomorrow. At any rate we will be meeting you tomorrow at the lab. What's up with Thursday? | ||

we haven't made plans for Thursday as yet- we usually head south to the old Fuddruckers but have been wanting a little more variety-we will probably toss ideas around @ Hooter's tomorrow see you at 7 | ||

WOW after tonight's events, I am, one, very grateful that everyone is ok, and, two, not going to leave on the bike without my jacket, even if it does seem like a pain in the ass. It was great meeting all of you tonight, maybe next time we get together for a ride we could do without the crashing! Again, great to meet everyone, and I am so glad everyone is ok!!! | ||

well for those who weren't there or did not hear yet Darwin (white firebolt) and I got a little tangled up tonight. He couldn't stop quickly enough and collided into the rear of me and we both went flying. as of yet we think we are all right although my knee hurts and my back is feeling different. Darwin's foot is swollen and his toes are purple and his back also feels not normal we'll see tomorrow. the bikes on the other hand need some work and tomorrow we'll see just how much. Thank you to those that stuck around after the "event". with a little luck the next time we get together it will be less "eventful". give you all an update tomorrow |
