I don't mind the heat,is that what your talking about.from what I get there's no state tax and no state inspections looks like the property taxes are the same as mass. |

I'm in for tonight, too. Felix (Blue Pipe) hope you had a great time here... We need the tourist dollars. (That's how Florida gets it money) Tell all your friends how great it is and send them down! If we could only get some hills and more twisties Florida would be perfect. |

Rode home last night from our meet and didnt hit any red lights. Shut my bike off and NO FAN! Has this ever happened to you? The check engine light did NOT come on. So now im questioning if i have a problem or maybe my right side scoop is doing its job? |

Sam, The farthest I've gone without the fan coming on is about 2 miles. Much after that it has always come on. You must have a used fan kicking around somewhere. It's not like you don't know where to get used parts... Buellst.... opps almost got censored! |

UPDATE>>>>> I rode to work in this morning (59degrees), stopped 10 minutes down the road for gas (50mph road) and the fan did not come on. I did notice the right side was still cool. Took 417 to work, stopped at 3 light and an atm (did not shut the bike off). When i turned the bike off at work the fan came on perfectly! CONCLUSION....Right side scoop is doing its job perfectly. |

UPDATE to Sam's UPDATE Rode about 15 minutes in stop and go traffic, including waiting for a train to go by at lunch time and the fan did NOT come on... It was odd not hearing the fan when I turned off the key. It did come on on my return trip. CONCLUSION: RSS makes our bikes much "cooler" Always wanted to ride a cool bike! |

Right side scoops come with the new Uly Comfort kit. $115 if they are still available. Don't know if you can order just the scoop from Seminole. Sam might knows a place where you can buy just the scoop, I think it is Buellster.... oops almost mentioned a non-sponsored supplier. You might want to private message him. |

Got caught in the rain riding in this morning... Hopefully, it will clear out for tonight. I'm planning on being there, if I and the weather dry out. |

sharp! On a side note... can a 07 xb12ss rear subframe (seat) be turned into a Uly? I know the frame swingarm and engine are the same so i assume the mounting positions for the seat frame will line up. Anyone hear of this? This is a "personal" question....not for a customer.... |

Should be a strait up bolt on, seen it before on the boards here, not sure if anyone did a write up tho, but they share the same frame so the mounts should be the same. |
