As Thepod already brought up, sounds like some good discussion for Saturday. Meanwhile I am stuck in this place for 6 days. In the middle of NO WHERE. But at least we were able to make it into Saltillo for dinner and a quick sight seeing trip of a cathedral.

The worst part is that it takes 45 min to get into town to eat any thing that resembles food. The food mart at the gas station up the street has better food then the hotel.

I sense Buell withdrawls. Think of all the wear & tear your saving on your bike. Bet those new tires will last a bit longer too this time around |

Thepod- Many beers where had the last couple nights. I was also dumb enough to accept Garuffas(Argintine steak house) steak special of the night. He insisted it was the best they served and about 16oz. Hmmm when it came out it pretty much took up the whole plate and was a good 1.25" thick (16 oz. My ass, more like 28 oz). It was served al carte which was a good thing and I still could not finish the damn thing. |

I'm not happy now but, we will still support the owners with parts and service as long as H-D can. It puts our race plan on hold. Rumor is there will be a substantial discount for remaining products. I'll keep you informed as what is going to happen here. A big thanks to the core group and may we continue to ride and enjoy our bikes. Thanks again, Dave. |

Well Dave, Let us know soon what the inventory picture looks like at Latus, and what plans are for clearing it out. Don't forget us when the "Buell specific" displays come down! |

So do we change our name to the Portland (motor)Bike Riders? Why couldn't this have happened to another Motorcycle Company? |

Let's be clear. I still ride a Buell. They may not sell them anymore, but I still have TWO. (I'll sell you the blast cheap though, oops. Off topic) I am still a Portland Buell Rider! Club lives as long as our bikes do... We will need to talk to Latus about the conference room though. |

I'm in agreement with Barrowed. I'm still going to ride it like its fun The only difference between my 1948 John Deere and my 2007 Buell is the number of wheels... They both get used and enjoyed (John Deere has a 2 cylinder club. I wonder if they will let my Buell in now?) |

Wow - this news hit me like a hammer. With Buell racing and the AMA pace bike deal I mentally was thinking Buell was going up not out. Sad day when profit pressure can force a company to turn it's back on innovative small divisions. Usually very short sighted and does not bode well for HD. Smart companies actually invest in innovation during down times - Very painful to listen to the message from Erik on Buell.com So PBR now has a new mission - a parts hoard! |

Stickxb- Congrats on an awesome bike. I think you might just have to extend your riding season this year. |
