Acav, if you can get there I can fix it. I have a master and fluid IIRC. I will bring them with me anyhow. Going to bed, be at T.W.O. about 7:30am. |

Charlie man I appreciate it...you always come through with the assist. Wish I had a plan B for transportation or I'd be down there. We're working on that this weekend instead...going truck hunting. Hope y'all all have a rockin' good time. The weather is there, wish I was beautiful! |

Adam. Sorry you couldn't make it. That sucks even worse when something little like that mucks things up. I was looking forward to seeing ya and we needed some good beer to, stuff I brought was horrible. I'm still having some electrical issues with mine and kept thinking it was going to leave me stranded. At on point the bike cut-out for a sec and the gauges started to do that sweep that thay do when you first start the bike and then stuck 1/2 way and stayed there for about 5min. and then slowly started working. Adam, you should stop reading now because I'm going to go on like a school girl about what a good time I had. I had a GREAT time. It was cool to meet a bunch of the bad-web'rs and others. Standing around the campfire friday night and I look over and Dave Despain is standing next to me. Did'nt even recognise him at first. Got in some great riding. Got in two of the rides that I wanted to get in before the end of the year, The Dragon, on a non-weekend, and war woman road. Did a quick ride with the wife this morning too. Was slow getting ready this AM so I missed Charley and group so we just headed up 60 for a while and came back. Almost had a ticket. I was putting along on the way back I was behind a car and saw an opening, started to roll on and thought better of it as it. Good thing I did as a few seconds latter I see the cop sitting in the corner, The pass would of had me diving back in right in front of the cop .. that would have been an ugly ticket for sure. Thanks Ryan and Steve, that run up to Highlands was a blast. Only bummer was wolf pen on the way back. Got stuck behind two bikes and truck. I don't have the stones or the skill to make the pass on that section. Any day riding is better than, well damm near everything. Good friends, good riding, no tickets or crashes = GREAT Time. Thanks all. I'm ready for the next ride .. When we going ? (Message edited by riding_tall on October 04, 2009) |

Yeah, it's gonna be hard to read everybody's great time stories now that BTF3 is in the books. Oh well, next time. RT- Your Uly is an '06 right? Some (including me) have had trouble with battery posts that were slightly too long from the factory, causing intermittent electrical cutouts. A washer under the head of each bolt will take up the extra space and for me that was the fix. We figured that out in BFE, Kansas when my headlights, dials, and entire engine were cutting on and off, surging, all sorts of freaky stuff. Maybe that's your issue. |

Riding Tall that was a great ride! I think you have picked up the pace a little since the last time we rode together. I really enjoyed chasing Deadduck all day, plus it was nice to see some other roads off the loop. |

I had a great time as always! And I'm pretty sure this was the first Buelltoberfest where everyone left with their bike and body in the same condition it arrived. Dan, Connie, Fran, I had fun "roughing it" with you in the cabin surfing the web and watching satellite TV. Thumbs up on the honey pancakes, too. There were a few old faces missing, but there were some new ones as well. |

I had a wonderful time up there too. Adam, sorry you couldn't make it down. That has to have been one of the smoothest weekends I have had in a long while, no major pucker moments, and a little help from the white ford this morning warning of the cop ahead was something new to me up there. Odie, it was great to meet you finally, I can put a face with a name now. Good times around the campfire for sure, now I gotta find out more about the Italian Suspension Mod..... The meeting with Dave Despain was something I will not soon forget. When I first started getting cycle world a long long time ago (25 yrs.), his ed piece was always the first thing I read. Great guy that doesn't live too far from here evidently. Can't wait till the next get together. |

What a great weekend. I only have two complaints. 1) The weekend was way too short. And 2) I can't believe that I missed out on meeting Dave Despain. |

It was so good to see the 3%er's that were at Buelltoberfest. Most of the C3 group are home already. Everyone had a great weekend and Sanchez said, it was nice having everyone go home the way they and their bikes came! |

Hate that I missed the fall festivities. I was let down by the Dogs and losing hope in my bike. Glad y'all had a good time. The weather was perfect! |

Kathy and I were thinking about have Buelloween at our place on Friday Oct. 30th. We thought by having it on the day before Halloween, it would give those of you with little ones the actual night to trick or treat. If there is any interest at all, we'll have a party. Everyone's welcome, kids too. Let me know. |

Fran, Shelley and I are in, maybe the kids but we'll try to find a baby sitter. Don't want the the kids to see Shelley dressing up all slutty and me to look like a fat pimp, lol! Charlie, That's a great pick. Is that the track in Barnesville? I'd like to take the Cornerspin school some day. I talk to Laird...he had a little get-off at Road Atlanta. Needed a footpeg and with that being said. I'd like to thank Paul in parts at Stone Mountain Buell/HD for helping Laird with some BUELL SUPPORT. He needed a footpeg after his get-off. SMHD had already closed, called at 7:01 and was able to get Paul on the phone. He was happy to help and put the part outside so I could pick. Thanks again Paul and SMHD |
