I can't make it tomorrow either. I did ride in to Orlando this morning to work - awesome!

I passed a yellow Firebolt on my way home tonight on 528. He got off at 520 and I continued on to Merritt Island.

Any idea who that might have been?

Not going to make it tonight tonight. the 'ole Fbolt is leaking oil out of the front cylinder, making a weird clicking sound out of the right side and the oil is not returning to the swingarm. So I have not been riding it, but I am taking it to Sem. HD tomorrow morning for repair. Did I tell you guys that I have my own dedicated parking space up there? Name plaque and everything... geezzzzzz

Sam - Any leads on a dual disc front end for an 05 SoftTail ? I'm trying to help an amputee who rides a trike conversion. His single disc front end just can't handle the extra wight.

Ok.. so Sem HD found that both rocker gaskets were leaking oil and fixed them. They checked my oil and found it was a quart low... remember now that i had an oil change (2-1/2 quarts) approximately 1300 miles ago when they rebuilt the transmission. so they added the oil, did a test ride... and when they got back the oil was a 1/4 inch lower on the dip stick. SURPRISE... the piston rings are bad and I'm burning oil. So now the engine is taken apart again to replace the rings in both cylinders...

I actually washed my bike this weekend for the first time in months. It looks new!!!

I did, however, find I was missing one of the fasteners that holds the lower cowling to the frame. Does anyone have an extra? I suppose I could get it at the dealership, but do I have to buy the complete set of 7?

Do you know what's a sure fire way to ensure it will rain?

Wash your bike!

I washed mine last weekend and rode it to work and it poured on the way home that Monday. For a variety of reasons I had to drive my car the rest of the week.

I got on it this morning and it poured on 528 from 520 all the way to 417 at 5:00 AM. Nice!!!
