I am looking to meet with fellow Buell owners in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area and possibly the very Northeast corner of North Carolina that have nothing to prove but just enjoy getting out in twisties and riding their Buells. I have been living and riding here for some time now and have some rides and variations that are both fun and challenging. Turning 45 soon, I have no time nor do I want to make time for stunters or people who ride unsafely in group rides. I feel like much more than six bikes on a ride is getting a little too large maintain safety and the group together. Also skill levels start to vary too much. This will be as informal and as casual as possible solely for the purpose of getting together and get riding. So if you want to lead,follow or running in the back, post up a day, time and meeting place. I usually meet at SSHD on the southside. Good luck Mike. I hope you find a few Buellers that do not have anything to prove. Some things I did when starting the CBR was make calling cards (with the url and my phone number) that I could put on bikes that I saw parked but could not find the owner. I also had a flyer at the local Buell dealer. You might want to advertise the link to TBO on craigslist for that area. Don't forget to add it to the official Buell web site as well. Frank Thanks, I saw Blake's reminder to register the Buell groups on Buell.com and did that tonight. I like the idea of calling cards and I have a pretty good contact inside the local dealer and mentioned my attempts at starting a new group. Mike | ||

I just purchased a used '08 XB12SS and had it delivered a couple days ago. I'm having issues right now getting it titled and registered, but as soon as I get it on the road I would be very interested. I also live about 30 seconds down the road from SSHD. I recently met Duck who works there at SSHD and is also a Buell fanatic. | ||
