Nice to hear from you Jeremy! Good luck in Monterey, it's a nice area, but slightly expensive. Drove a stellar road between the 1 and the 101 this summer, but don't remember what it was. |

On my commute home today I started to hear some sounds coming from my bike. Even over the noise of my exhaust. So when I got home I put my bike on the Pit Bull stand and started checking things out. Come to find out my rear wheel bearing is shot. So I now have my wheel off and need to buy some wheel bearings and also see about getting them installed. |

Getting some more warranty work done on Tuesday. My new Clutch cover Rev B which was just put on a few months back is now leaking. |

The cover I believe will be the same but the piston/Sleeve and seal should be a new version. Otherwise they will be seeing it again in another 5000 miles (3 months). Hopefully its figured out before my warranty runs out. |

Hey folks, quick hello from the plane returning from ATL. Wish I was coming along on the Crater Lake ride, but gotta attend to family after 2 weeks on the road. Did get my wife a new bike though, and might even ask her to let me ride it at a trackday. Will see. |

Brake lights fixed. Blinkers are fixed and I am now getting ready to put my stock exhaust back on until I can afford to buy another pipe that is just a 5db lower. My ears are still feeling the effect today. And with more 800 mile weekends planned in the future its not going to work out that well for me. Love the pipe though and is great for the 2-3 hour romp. Oh damn! More tuning again... |

All done including a new zero gravity 3" lift wind shield. I can actually fit my head behind this one. Should be fun. |

Sweed, did you do another pipe too? Or just put one of the TWO extras you had in the shop on? |

I put my original pipe back on that I had modified with the 3" tip. So it does not sound stock. Its actually pretty decent sounding. |

Thanks Dave and Latus! -After fighting my mystery issue for over 4k on my 08 Dave and Latus have done a very commendable job and got me a replacement Uly. - they know how to build customer loyalty and have mine. (and no Dave I will not be seeking a replacement every time I need new tires) |

2009, switched from safety yellow to my black pieces. Now I have owned an 06, 08 and 09 Uly. Missed 07 and hope to miss several years from here on out. Had to remember on the way home not to rip on it, still had the shine on the tires (6 miles on it). |

Well done Dave, Tony, and George! GREAT to hear about the excelent customer service. Greg, perhaps we should reward the good service with a Kudos posting in the quick board? |

I will definitely give Kudos on the Uly board and the Quick Board - I aired my what is wrong questions so now for the positives. Good Idea on the Quick Board, I do not go there often. |

I spent about 2.5 hrs at Latus today while my new piston ans cylinder kit was being installed, hopefully fixing my clutch cover leak. The Latus 1125R race bike was on display. Pretty cool to see all the little changes that they have done to the bike. |

Update on Adopt a Highway! First off, South Clackamas River Drive is not a highway and therefore not under the jurisdiction of ODOT. No problem: I contacted Clackamas Co. The bad news is that both sections, east and west are taken by dedicated people that have served it well for years. What IS available is 224 from Tong Rd to Semple Road or a stretch of 224 past Barton... Otherwise, the Clackamas Co guy (my inside connection let me know that he rides a Goldwing...) recommended the Canby Marquam Highway 170: not particularly curvy, but darn pretty motorcycling country with the added bonus of great eats in Marquam... Further thoughts? I like the 224 idea... |
