I certainly agree that the GPR looks cooler and perhaps more importantly is easily accessible. My one concern though is that the best that I can figure is that it must attach to the front of the airbox. These two attachment points also are the same attachment points for the tank bag. Any idea if this causes a conflict?? I really need both. The Ohlins can't interfere where it is mounted.
Anybody know of a professional patch sewing place in Columbus? I used Big Dog motorcycles (Easy Riders) this past spring and they did a great job, but now they're gone.
Wednesday's meeting is going to be at the Farrow's North Star location @ 6:30 and then have a short ride to the Lube.
The dealer wants to know from us what we think they need to do to succeed with the Buell brand. What I would like to see you do is take the time to write or type up what you feel they should be doing.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING!!!
Round up every Buell rider you can and drag your none Buell riding friends with you. If we expect to have local support we need to show the same
MikeF5000, there is a guy named kenny that is at most of the HD style bike nights around columbus who sewed mine on for cheap. he does a decent job. You can most likely find him at the Whiskey Dick's bike night on Thursday and tell him Neil from Farrow's sent you. That might get you a better deal.

Bummer Mike! I was looking forward to hearing more and going on that ride in a couple weeks. Oct 4 likely won't work for us as it's Lisa's bday weekend. But then again, she might WANT to go on a ride for her birthday! :-)
Found a hell of a loop yesterday. Mostly stolen from Road Runner magazine, but that's ok! It was from an issue from a year or two ago.
What do you guys think of this flier? I wasn't going to distribute it everywhere, but I was going to pass it around at Euro Bike night. Hope nobody minds if we get some Ducatis, Beemers, and Triumphs in the mix.
I could just make it Sunday October 11th, but then there wouldn't be a rain date because I think I have plans for the following Sunday.
Doesn't matter to me. I want thoughts from you all!
The route: Getting from Pickerington to the fun roads: 256 East 664 South Then the fun roads start: 37 East 13 South 685 West 78 West 33 North 278 South 56 West 664 North Back To Pickerington: 256 West

Mike: I'm also in for the ride on Oct-4 (first-timer).
Dobieg: Have mixed feelings about the fairing kit. The pods are very distinctive & grow on you. I have a fairing set on order with custom white paint to match my bike. Not sure what to expect...maybe they'll have to grow on me too.

Good enough for me! The ride flier posted above shall be considered official! Invite anyone you'd like, I know I'll be inviting some Ducati and BMW riding friends. Actually probably a few Harleys and a KLR as well. All skill levels and speeds welcome. No one will be left behind. Trying to avoid the 'jap bike crowd' (japanese motorcycles are fine) but you know the type. With they're constant revving and wheelies and burnouts.
And remember those of you not able to make it on Oct. 4th. If the weather's nice the next Sunday too, we can do another ride! Hell, I'll lead the same loop again (maybe counter-clockwise?!?)! It's some of the best roads I've ever ridden in Ohio!

New Member!
David Bertman from up in North Canton has joined us, bringing a 2007 XB12R Firebolt to the herd. Seems there's not a lot of activity up north, so he's looking for a group of Buellers that actually rides.
Be sure to welcome David when you see him post or in person.

DAMN... I guess you wanted to finish that tire off quickly...
Yeah, I thought so too, but Jardine thought differently about it. I still like it, and hope I can get a belly pan to mount to this fairing to cover the mid pipe, I think that is why I am still not sure about the fairing.
I'm a bit slow didn't even know we had a picture thread
