Jeff, Are you going on the morning ride- I'm not. I'll be over at the Don and Roys shindig till about 5:00 or so then I'm heading to Hals for the meet and greet and ride to the HD museum later that day. Too Bad you can not make it on Fri, it seems to be working out to be great day in all. Peace Out |

Mohawk Matt was at my place last night getting his XB9's brake pad changed, brake fluid flushed, and helping me change the Ulybolt's tires. Now, if I can get done with this MASSIVE pile of work dumped on me. Might as well paint an HD shield and Buell oval on our building with all the work we're getting. But yeah, things could be worse. |

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the great job that Brew City Thunderbikes, Bud Curtis, and Hal's did to make the 2009 Homecoming a fun event! I had a great time, enjoyed the fun ride after Gus's and I'm already looking forward to next year! Thanks again!!!! |

I have reservations for 1pm on Sunday at Motor for Father's Day. Currently I told them that we had a party of 20. Let me know who is going so that I can adjust if necessary. Thanks. (Message edited by squidbuzz on June 18, 2009) |

Guys, notably Steve, I spoke with Bud today and he said that you, Steve may have a pre-routed route for the Southern Kettle. If this is the case could you send it to me? I had the best time on my bike running through it during HC. I need to do it again! Thanks! |

Tim, sounds good, thanks. Was going to do it today, but went up to the Holy Hill area instead. I will be taking a buddy of mine along with me, he rides an 07 Daytona 675. We'll smoke his ass! It's either going to be sometime next weekend or the following. I'll let you know, and hopefully you're available. |

I have some XB bags for sale. Asking $100 for the saddle bags, not sure i have the brackets, have to look. Asking $75 for the tail bag, I think it is for the Firebolt. All bags have never been installed. would rather a pick up then shipping, but would charge actual shipping. Would take $150 for all. (262) 939-3432. Have had these for years but never owned an XB. |

Hello. It's been a strange and stressfull summer so far. Haven't even moved either Buell once, let alone try to start them. Oh well. Ride safe out there. MikeJ |

well steve I got my bike back up and running. I ended up replacing both spark plug wires and cleaning the coil due to rust and corrosion on the front end. Second time Ive been caught in the rain. I think thats going to turn me into a fair weather rider instead of the bad weather biker I am. Thanks for making sure I got home safe and hopefully our next ride will be a bit more dry. |

Jeff, heh, like I said, I've got nearly 50K on Buells, and have *NEVER* had that problem! And I ride in all weather. Just make sure and use dielectric grease on the plug wire connections to keep the corrosion out of there. |

I put some dielectric grease on the connections when I put her back together. It would have been covered under warranty if I had put the bike back together and brought it to Hals. But the $9 wires were cheap enough that I didn't feel like dealing with putting everything back together then trailering it. Thanks again! |

It was good to see you guys Sunday. Too bad it was for such a short while. I hit the severe thunderstorm about 30 miles east of Madison. Had to pull over once for lack of visibility... kinda scary-cool. Matt... you are still cute and good luck in Minnesota! |

Anyone good at electrical troubleshooting? Replaced my stator in late April and still haven't ridden yet this year. No check engine light at key on, no odo display, no lights on tach.... |

Well I finally got one of the Buells out of the garage this morning, rode the S2 to work. 40+ miles each way to work means I might actually burn a whole tank of gas in it before summer officially ends. Woo hoo. Edit to add: ps, any tricks or concerns I should know about regarding changing out S2 steering head cups and bearings? I'll check the KV section eventually to refresh myself. I suspect I'll have to make a threaded rod cup press or maybe borrow one from the bicycle shop. I don't think a bicycle cup remover will work though. Hmmm, maybe I'll wait until January to do it ....
