Damn...I just saw the Dark Horse Moto Rear Brake Caliper Relocation Bracket and Custom Pulley for the first time. Wish the Buell budget was not accounted for with wear and tear items and the AR budget spiraling out of control. |

You and me both. I'm accumulating a long list of stuff to buy for the Ulysses. One of my damn bar ends fell off on the highway, so now I need new ones. |

Well folks, As some of you heard yesterday (great party btw!), my wife Becky has landed a job in Knoxville, TN, and we are soon to be packing up and relocating. We are excited about the move but we're definitely gonna miss the friends we have made here in GA. I'd like to personally extend the invite to any of the local 3% crowd to join us for a farewell party we are putting together for Saturday the 29th. Short notice, we realize, but we are moving September 5th, so the choices were limited. We'll be grilling out at the pavilion in Mountain Park (google maps "Mountain Park, GA"), playing horseshoes, drinking a few adult lubrications (inside joke), etc. with whomever of our GA friends can make it. BYOB, starting around 4:00 pm. On a personal note, I'll just say that I've really enjoyed being a part of the local scene with the 3%ers, and I thank you all for the friendship you've shown me. I've never known a better group of people. I'm not going too far away and the good roads are all halfway between Atlanta and Knoxville, so I'll still be around. I'm staying 3% too, none of this C3 crap (jk, I know they're cool too!). Hope y'all can make it to the party, and if not then I'll hope to see you all at Buelltoberfest! |

Damn! My picture post got lost in the badweb crash. I'd linked in a bunch of favorites, but I don't have time to run through them all again, so here's the link to the gallery: http://www.incorrect.org/coppermine/thumbnails.php ?album=78 |

need some z50 help. I'm trying to take the clutch off so I can get to the stopper plate behind the drive gear. I just bought the little 4 prong socket for the crankshaft bolt, but here is where my question lies. Standard thread on the crank or reverse? where do I hold the clutch assembly to keep the motor from spinning, I didn't get the spanner wrench, is this something I'm gonna have to have to perform this procedure? I found an online manual, but it is pretty vague in describing the procedure. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

I have a manual. Clymer but it works. I dont remember what threads are on the crank but I have the Factory crank puller here. ESB is good by the way. |

Glad you like it! not too sweet? I got the clutch thing figured out, took everything apart and found the shifter dog? the thing that has a roller bearing on the end that locks the tranny in gear, had worked its way loose a bit. It was resting over the top of the stopper, what I originally thought was wrong. Anyway, got everything back together, tomorrow the carb rebuild and continue the search for a fuel tank. |

Is there anywhere local I can pick up a brake lever for my CRF-50? I'm tired of getting the wrong ones off ebay. |

Lawrenceville Honda or Cycle gear should have your levers. |

why is it so flipping hard to find a gas tank that is cheaper than the entire bike. anybody got a resource for a 91 model z50r replacement gas tank. I've been watching fleabay and cringelist, and haven't came up with much. I'd like a plastic replacement for it so I won't have to worry about rust issues. anybody? |

alright, negate that last post. i realize I'm gonna have to bite the bullet on this and pay 190 plus for a frikkin tank. I emailed a guy today that has a z50 to part out and he quoted me a price of 200 for the stock tank, with scratches, and a little rust, I don't understand it. these bikes can be picked up for nothing to 600, and people are wanting 200 for POS tanks that rust......unbelievable! Anyway, found a plastic by Clarke for 189 so thats what I'll do, unless somebody knows of somewhere else. |

Great pics from the party. Wish I could have been there. Duc_htr, That was a cool video, Shelley and I watched it twice Adam, You can count on the Buffington family to be there. Would you like us to bring a side dish? Hate that you'll are moving but at least it isn't to far away. Deadduck, I ran into the same problem looking for parts for our 86' Z50R. That bike was just about mint when we both it at a garage sale for 250.00 |

No way to salvage your current tank? What's the problem with it? |

big holes (quarter size) rusted out along the bottom. the entire tank is ate up with rust and its leaking right on top of the exhaust. I thought about trying to salvage it, but while I was poking around in it with my flexible flashlight, I was poking more holes through the side. I got this one for free cause he couldn't get it to go into gear, and probably the rust in the tank too....I just can't believe that someone would be asking 200 for a tank that is just as likely to be rusted out or in the process.. |

Hate to see y'all go, you just got here! I know, seems like I've really just started to have a group of friends here even though I've been in GA for nearly 4 years. Kindof a bummer. Should've bought a Buell sooner I guess. On that note...just croseed the 1 year mark for owning the Uly, and I'm still glad I bought it. Let me think here...1 year, 19,000 miles, 17 states, 4 rear tires, 3 paint schemes, and 1 ditch dive. Good memories. Nothing like a little 2 wheeled adventure. Looking like a pretty good turnout for the 29th. I wish there was a good place here to run the fittys...only a small parking lot but if you guys wanna bring 'em I'm sure there's enough room for a wheelie or two. |

Anyone down for Vortex or local bike night this evening? Need to hand out fliers for Total Control ARC class's. Btw, 3%ers and Bad web folks get a discount. Last three times I went on tuesday's bike night it rained. Got in trouble for drinking a beer and hanging out, lol! |
