Author Message   Idaho_buelly Posted on Monday, March 16, 2009 - 11:00 pm:        Bill,they do not offer a "Race ECM"..But there is an aftermarket ECM available...Don't know of any remaps?...I guess I could buy the aftermarket ECM for the 09, then put the K&N on then figure out how to dial the new ECM in?....Not to bad right now though....Absolutely love the sound!...Quiets down pretty good at cruising speed..Nice!...Thanks again Bill....Tim   Idaho_pakeha Posted on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 - 05:37 pm:        Hey Bill I finally got my cable and ECMSPY software up and running, very cool and a lot cheaper than the race ECM. I talked to Peggy, she couldn't do anything, so talked to the service manager, he argued with me but finally gave in and said he would talk to her. His arguement was that the bike has been ridable most of this time. Hmm, bike sat for a month with a toasted engine, then it took another month to get it swapped out, then the front end started making noises and the bike feels un-settled all the time now (they claim it was not setup right, yet even after adjustment it still does it... ) Now the bike won't hold a charge more than 3 days if off a charger (not a real confidence inspiring feeling for a daily rider, don't want to stranded). Doesn't really sound "ridable the whole time" to me, but hey everyone has their opinion. Sorry for the rant Mike, I'm just a little ticked. I talked to everyone last thurs, haven't heard from anybody since. They will have had the bike 5 weeks this stint this coming thursday, and I have not heard a word on it (I said I don't want to see it until it is 100 percent fixed). Guess they are having troubles with it or something. At this point I'm so mad about it I almost don't care. If I didn't owe more money on it than it's worth, I think I'd sell the damn thing and buy a new ZX or R-1. I called yesterday and they said they are going through the channels to see what they can do. If nothing happens, I'll try and call her directly. They also said I can come pickup the bike and ride it for about a week until the next parts come in... Guess I'll watch the weather and see if I want to run down and grab it for a couple days. I just moved to Logan, Utah. i miss boise. especially since it's riding season again. my bike is at a friends house right. man i want it now. oh, i started have electrical problems with mine. took it in to harley, and it ended up that my wiring harness was getting pinched at full turn lock, and my new seat was smashing a couple wires going to my race ecm. other then that bikes awesome. i go through a set tires per season, lastest tires are the corsa 3's nice tires, didn't last though.   Bhemph0 Posted on Monday, April 27, 2009 - 01:50 pm:        Hello all, just letting you know I have 2 pipes ready to go if you or someone you know is interested. Maybe the 2010 Buell adventure bike Eric wants to build? I have the Buell XB shop manual and a 2nd. Ully seat also custom exhaust ready to go.   C4bird Posted on Thursday, July 09, 2009 - 09:09 pm:        Don't want to, but I'm going to sell the 1125r (need to pay stuff off and I just don't have the time to ride like I used to). Figure I'd give you guys first shot at it , you guys know the history, and everything is pretty we'll documented here. Bike has all the updates and runs/rides great, I just haven't had the time to ride since having my son, and bills are making us live paycheck to paycheck. Less than 3k miles, less than 150 miles on the new engine/trans. Make me a reasonable offer if interested. I'm going to list it on craigslist in a couple weeks. Not sure how to transfer it, but I have a decent credit at High Desert that goes with it (enough to cover the first 2 major services). Also comes with a buell adventure jacket/pants, buell helmet, has both the rider/passenger upgraded seats, lowered pegs, and traction grips. Tires are still pretty decent as well. Bike is 100 percent ready to ride (sorry no joy/test rides without cash in hand) -Nate   Bhemph0 Posted on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - 04:04 pm:        Anyone still out there? diggin the Dual sport - rode Rocky Canyon to Robie to Hwy 21 to Grimes to pine cr rd. to Bogus ski area and down to Boise. Wheelies, slides, jumps and no cops! And not one Harley with a pirate suited poser anywhere. I will replace the Ully by next spring but will never be without a dirt bike again! (KTM Motard?) Let me know if you want to ride along.
