Nuts, Your going to have to deal with them yourself. I'm up in Minnesota freezing my butt off.  Came up for two weeks and forgot my jacket. 60's during the day and 40's at nite. I gotta get ou of here before it snow's. | ||

Been a good week with Charlie in Minnesota. I rode down to Fancy Gap on Saturday and looped west to route 16 and then on to Burkes Garden. Ten miles of gravel gave way to a wonderful river road called 61. I rode in to Blacksburg and took Catawba road back to 311. Completing 310 miles on the day. My new seat is miraculous! Had a local fellow re-work it while adding 3" to the height. I like tall bikes. NUTS Got a little onery feeling yesterday and decided to solo the "Jeep Trail" on top of Potts Mountain. I completed the task in one hour and dropped the bike none! Now I want a trials bike, and someplace to ride it. NUTS | ||

Nuts, A Trials bike is more fun than a tree full of monkeys.I rebuilt the motor on one for a neighbor once and he said to keep it and break it in for him. It was over a month before he came and picked it up. Wheelies and rock climbing like you wouldn't believe. It will make you think your a lot better than you really are.  Just don't try and use it for anything else. For the guy that has a bike for all occasions, it's a must have machine. | ||

Charlie, I am thinking REAL hard about getting one. Maybe even give up the dualsport for it. Actually, i thought about getting rid of the Suzuki and saving up for something ORANGE. | ||

Nuts, Orange sounds like KTM, not sure what they have in trials. I used a 350 Bultaco,but that was 30 plus years ago.Their no good for traveling,but once your there they will keep a smile on your face.  The rougher the better. | ||

Thanks Charlie. Its nice to finally be able to get back out a bit (with the help of the ATV). While I'm out goofing off my 14 year old is in North Dakota on a mission trip spreading the word to the Sioux nations. I am very proud of her! Oh I imagine I could have quite a bit of fun with their larger cousins . When we went to the beach I ran across a 4 foot gator and it was all the family could do to keep me from going for the pounce. I'm positive I coulda' caught him and feel confident I would have had at least 7 fingers left.  | ||

Everybody always wants to know whats up with the "turtleguy". It's like your a superhero or something. Maybe you could get your own TV show. Nuts, Feel free to tell anyone who might inquire that I am doing well or you can tell them I have gone completely insane. Whichever you think is appropriate at the time. I think we ought to do a little show for the local public broadcast station. Can't be any worse than some of the other crap thats on there. If you get the Raven to show us his hotspots out Hanging Rock ways we can do a special on the history of rattlesnake handling in the church. I'll be the camera man (and 911 dialer) on that one whilst you and Raven dance around in a trance with a 5ft Timber dangling from your fingers. | ||
