Dead battery. Left lights on when I got home from work. I have a tender on it now, so hopefully it will charge, otherwise...I don't know. | ||

Any of you guys make to Cassoday? Everybody hear bailed so I solo'd. I left home at 6:30 and got there at 8:45, 137 miles with one stop at Eureka great weather, 65 degrees going out, very little traffic. Met a guy with a Cyclone and an older gent on a Blast, bought a couple of t-shirts, it seems like the event gets bigger every time I go there. Anyway I left about 10:30 looking forward to taking the long way home going up 171 up thru Cottonwood Falls etc and got in behind a group of sportbike riders and we were just getting to a nice brisk pace about 6 miles North and saw flashing lights ahead and the Hyway was shut down, very bad accident. Seems a new rider a 40ish blond female on a metric cruiser was ahead of her group heading south to Cassoday and according to witnesses was looking behind to see where the rest of her group was and ran off the road and was doing fine out in the grass and would have been fine if she would have slowed down but she tried to get back on the road at speed and over corrected and hi-sided. The bike ended up in the north bound ditch and she impacted the road surface head first not wearing a helmet, I didn't go down to look but they said she had a broken neck and massive head injuries, which I don't doubt because the fireman spent about 10 minutes washing the road surface. When they loaded her on the Life Flight helicopter they said she was alive. I hope she makes it. Other wise had a good 320 mile ride yesterday on the S3T. Fuel mileage was 53.3 for the day. . | ||

I hate hearing that. No one wanted to go here. I sold my muffler and in the middle of building a new one. If I would of not worked Saturday I would of had it on and riding. | ||

I went!!! Two up on the Buell with my woman! Had a good ride. She is still whining about sore butt.Didn't see any other buells, but it was a mob scene. I'd heard about a bad accident north of cassoday, didn't know the details. Sorry to hear about that. | ||
