Actually, we owe a lot of thanks to Bads1 and NN for putting up with us. The neighbors should also be commended for not calling the police in response to the furor created by the dropkick. JT |

Dearest Newfie... Good news, the fund is growing. The bad news is unless you want to be here before the year 2525, you need to pitch in. Hope to see you soon!!! |

Dana...Thanks for the tip about the Craig Jones prepped XB9S at Hal's. Nobody in the service department knew a thing about it, but will check and let me know later this week. Funny thing is, it is rather difficult to get a feel for the bike on the showroom floor as they have it in a vertical wheelie position. Yeah, I whipped out the tape and compared it to the X1 on the floor but it was impossible to comprehend the feel of the set up. Of interest, I sent Bubba Blackwell a note Sunday and he responded today telling me exactly which bars he used on his X1 stunt bike. Will be researching them this week and may be a happy camper soon. Wonder how long Craig Jones will take to reply. |

Dana...Will do. I also have a friend at Hal's checking into what bars were used on the "Craig Jones XB9S" and whether or not the cables and brake line needed to be swapped out. As I found a few bars that I like at the Torque Center I am also having him check on the price to install them including new cables and brake line on my X1. Will keep you posted on both issues. Also, remember in my letter to both Bubba and Craig, I inquired about the bars they used on their X1 stunt bikes, not the XB's. |

Bill I emailed him also to see what he would have to say about 12 bars.He told me that he bought some cheap black bars at the Uke's Dirt Store. Then I looked at the picture of his bike and he ain't joking he did.I saw them bars at the dealer.Well I'll be damned. He also went on to say that he did not have to change cables or brake lines on any of his bikes.Kinda cool that he gets back to you so speedy. |
