So who all showed up? And how was the drive down? Was the ejector seat activated? Curious minds want to know. An employee in a neighboring business here rode his bike in to work today. Frustration comes to mind since I managed to slide the pickup on ice on several corners and bumpy stretches on the way in to work this morning, still too slick to ride for me. |

There was about a dozen people, I woulda rode but I had to wear a suit that day. Donut told me CJ said she was totally turned on by my clean cut look. |

Damn, I always wanted to go to the Brat Stop, wish I hadn't been so damned tired last night. At least I managed to pawn off Donut on someone else for a change. This morning he told me he hadn't seen me that tired since the time I did LA->Racine in two days. |

Next month I will probably stop up to the Hal's meeting, provided that my schedule allows me two. With all that goes on between baseball and summer festival broadcasts I don't know if being really active in two clubs is possible but I can at stop by occasionally. It's not terrible to drive from Racine to Brookfield but it's a lot closer to go to Uke's. JT--Who doesn't think that long drives are so bad some days.

Dull and Impulse came along. I had to drop off a wallet for my future father-in-law in Oak Creek. Impulse had to fly, so Dull and I stopped at my mother's house in New Berlin. Talked a little, then Dull and I went our seprate ways home. Felt so good to get on the bike. Well, ride the bike instead of getting on the bike in the garage making vroom vroom sounds. |

Don't I have it as well? I think I may have erased it, send it my way again. I'm glad to see that others were having the same thought. |

Got it, I apoligize for not thinking of you. I have no group riding exper., so maybe it was better to only be around two other bikes untill I get better. |

How do you think I felt. New bike, new group of riders and add the brisk wind to the equation and you understand how nervous I was. JT |

group riding is very different than riding by yourself or with another, well known, buddy . . .. good for you for being aware of that, and taking it into account . . .. . specially with all the crap on the roads this time of year! . . . . . my favorite is riding with 2 to 4 other, very well known people (preferably 2 or 3 of them better than I am so I can learn), but larger groups can be fun as well . . . one point seldom discussed is what to do if one of the group is a jerk, and endangering themselves and/or others . . . . does the group ditch the squid? how? something for a converstaion, perhaps, at your next group ride discussion |

Supposed to be over 50 today. Need to repair a tailight wire & pop in the new battery. If the weather actually is decent will make a run up to Torque center. Havent been out on the bike in about 4 months or so. |
