It was great to see all you Buelligans at the show this weekend. Sorry if I didn't have a chance to socialize properly with anyone but it was a BUSY show. Interest seems very high on the new bikes this year and I think we are on the verge of becoming a major player in the exotic sportbike market. COOL! Talk to you all soon. Brent X-1, real mens' hearts lie in responsible places. Who wants to listen to a bunch of whining wannabe BS on a cold winter nite anyway? I seem to remember Brent was the ONLY Illinois bueller who froze his balls off at Grattan last year to make sure you dickheads were represented. He also was seen taking practice laps on the ice as it snowed while the rest of you toughguys made excuses why you couldn't make it. He even tore his van up the following week going back to ride on the raincheck date.Guess the idea of actually testing riding skills verses benchracing skills was just too much for mere mortals. Brent is a badass, his bike is a badass, his wife can be a badass, and the new baby will also certainly be a badass. THE ENDPS; hey Brent, I'm pickin up the new 1600 Kaw Vulcan tomorrow.....BUELLS RULE... |

Brent X-1, real mens' hearts lie in responsible places. Hence the reason i was at work, and not the meeting, of course you have never been to a meeting, so saying what you say is easy, and annonymous Who wants to listen to a bunch of whining wannabe BS on a cold winter nite anyway? Maybe if you attended a meeting, you might not think that way, but of course you may still feel the same way, but if you actually knew what was up, than you wouldnt have said anything in the first place, maybe you should drop Brent a phone call before you post making the assumption this is in anyway for real I seem to remember Brent was the ONLY Illinois bueller who froze his balls off at Grattan last year to make sure you dickheads were represented. He also was seen taking practice laps on the ice as it snowed while the rest of you toughguys made excuses why you couldn't make it. So riding in the snow or ice makes you a man, well than you can have it, riding for me is for fun, i have nothing to prove to anyone, i have no need to speed down the gap, at a pace that is to fast for me to handle, than break my leg in the process of slowing down, if speed or stupidity makes you a man, than you can have it, be my guest He even tore his van up the following week going back to ride on the raincheck date Company van, seen his new one yet .Guess the idea of actually testing riding skills verses benchracing skills was just too much for mere mortals. Like i said, if riding on ice and snow proves you are better than me, than you win, you can have all the glory you like, hell if crashing on wet pavment makes you a man, you win hands down, and if riding over your head, down a cliff makes you the bigest man out there, your top dog, good luck, gods speed, and hows the ankel, weather afect it??because it will, worth it, not to me you win Dickhead On a side note, what if your comments made someone so mad, that Brent was actually NOT welcome on some upcoming trips, what if what you said made it uncomfortable for Brent to be asked if he would like to attend another ride, what if you, because of your comments made it difficult for Brent to feel comfortable around some of the people that have welcomed him on rides in the past, yea i am sure you dont care, but than again maybe you should |

If MY comments made someone so mad that Brent wasn't welcome on an upcoming trip, then I guess that someone would have an issue with ME instead of my friend Brent. By taking issue with Brent over MY comments I believe that person would be considered a pussy. That's just my opinion and an example of my "f...ed-up reality"(that's what my therapist calls it). Lighten up for God's sake, it's just a little motorcycle club.....jeeeeze! |

I talked to Brian Nallin yesterday and he confirmed that he would attend our April 1 chapter meeting along with Steve Vagin of Vagin Racing and his rider Scott Scherb. If you haven't heard, Brian sold his company Nallin Racing and has started a new venture called Revolution Performance. I understand this company is to specialize in Buell/H-D performance engine mods, etc. We'll learn more about it and the upcoming AMA Grand National racing season on April 1. This is a can't miss night, see you then. PS, We'll talk about it at the next meeting but I'm in the initial planning stage of setting up a ride for Fri, July 9 to the AMA Grand National at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet. Races start at 8:00 PM, more details to come. Keep your calendar clear for that night, it will be great to have the boys back in town again. Sam Sam Scolastico Illinois H-D/Buell 1301 S. It comes with Great Grief & Sympathy that I must inform our Chapter members that the Brother of our Chapter Member Kirk Bastek has passed away...I spoke with a Very Saddened Kirk this morning. I had gone to Grade School with Craig Bastek @ Rhodes School in River Grove, and it was nice to hear of him again thru Kirk. I still remember that Craig had a passion to be a Sports Newscaster when we were going to grow up... As a Representative of OUR B.R.A.G.Chapter I wish to send our deepest Sympathy to the Bastek family. God Speed to you Craig Sincerely Ray/Nancy & Sons |

Sorry for your loss Kirk. God speed Craig. On a happier note, my wife gave birth to bouncing boy yesterday. 8lbs. 2oz. Looks like I'm going to be in the market for a few dirt bikes in a few years. Later. |
