Enjoyed seeing everyone last Sat. at Frederick Buellfest. Joe (Ratbuell) and the rest of the staff there... Thanks for a great event! On another positive note, just came back from seeing my doctor. He is happy with my recovery so far. Will start phys. therapy maybe this week. I asked about riding. He said that with good padded gloves, I can try it out at my discretion. He was worried about vibration. Buells don't vibrate thru the grips very much, do they? |

That's great news Brian. I hate to hear about an 1125r collecting dust. Kathy, I'll take you up on your offer too. |

I need to practice too. We need a good clean flat lot that I can put 2, 40 foot circles on. I have MSF cones we can use. I need 40 foot of measuring tape. The weekend of June 27th and 28th I'm free. Bring your knee pucks. If it rains we cancel. You guys pick the lot please make it central so we are meeting at a half way point. The only thing that could pull me away from this weekend is dear old Old Glory HD They are planing some kind of Buell fest as well and the owner has mentioned AGAIN for me to come and set up something like Rat did last weekend. Well, with the season finally here we really want to see some 1125 bikes go to happy new homes. PM or email me (jgoetz@hdoffrederick.com) for pricing - we've got some smokin' deals going on '08 1125R and '09 1125CR models. Help me pay for the M2L I just bought for my wife, LOL. |

...also, if there are any Buellers going on the Rolling Thunder ride, let me know. I don't have to work till 11 on Sunday and I'm thinking about making the trip down, at least to the GW parkway, then looping back to go to work. Ride leaves here (Buell of Frederick) at 8:45 SHARP. |

Joe, thanks again for hooking me up at the shop! I will NEVER EVER "F" with that bike again...unless I get my motorcycle mechanic license! I hope the work involved with replacing the swing arm is not that involved so I can get on the road again....Thanks again amigo! |

Alright CABO riders I talked to Steve, the owner of Old Glory, tonight about doing the Total Control/ rider course challenge that Joe had at Buell fest and it looks like he wants to do this on the 27th which is the weekend I mentioned. I can try and get Tracy Martin out for the day to do the same Powerpoint he did for you all a couple of years ago, and if Steve lets me set up a track that you could practice the body position mixed in with straight up throwing the bike around riding, What do you all think? I didn't get any feedback for the weekend I mentioned, need some feedback if you want me to push for this or not K |

Not sure where the patches were made. No labels, and they were given to me ...uh...without a box, accompanied only by a handshake and a smile They're nicely done, though - totally embroidered, nice tie-offs in the back. Wherever they were made, they are as 'official' as they get given my source. I just hope there are more at Homecoming....we got an RK Stratman clothing catalog with a small intro group of tees with the new logo, so the stuff is 'on the way'. Which reminds me, I need to fabricate a new charger for my point-n-shoot before HC. If I can't buy it, I at least want to take pictures of it LOL. Rat very nice you all are blowing the rest of the dealers away! Aww....thanks! |

All right looks like it will be on the 27th of June for sure. I got the go ahead from Tracy Martin to do the same Power Point presentation you all had 2 years ago at Old Glory. Plus we will try and work a riding skills challenge in on the back lot with a 40 foot circle for you all to practice on. So I have been in touch with OGHD marketing person, I stepped up to the plate to do this now let's see if OGHD pulls through for us. I will keep everyone posted as we get closer to the date. I know the OGHD racing team will be there too. K |
