Whats the story with this???? Guess he does not like you all talking smack on Wicheeta. LOL "Posted by Tom_b on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 12:26 am: Not anymore impressed with K.C. than Ratfink and Mr. Incognito are of Wichita. I've actually met some of you K.C. riders(cafelite for one) I hope he is more representative of your group than ratfink and incognito." (Message edited by fester99 on May 19, 2009) |

Posted by Mr incognito on May 13, 2009-4:24 pm "And John, how do you like hanging out with the Wichitards"..Posted by Mr. Incognito on May 13, 2009-6:48 pm "Wichita is a whole different world buddy.. my wifes whole family lives down there LOL. did you here dueling banjos as you pulled into town?".. Posted by Mr. Incognito on May 14, 2009-4:57 pm "Seems like Wichita cops would always be busy with things like: trailer park fires, hunting accidents, tractor wrecks, and people getting robbed for their marlboros" Seemed a little on the insulting side to me. Not anything ratfink posted and for that I removed my post a few minutes after i posted it. Also didn't want to start a pissing contest with a group i have met a few of and got along well with. Evidently not soon enough. The only reason i was on the K.C. forun to start with is I was going to post to see if any one from K.C. was going to "Thunder in The Valley" in Marquette to maybe meet a few more buell riders. I'm sure it wasn't meant to be insulting, and all in good fun. City folks make fun of small towns all the time but I don't get all defensive because that's where I'm from. If you don't like it that's you're problem. |

If you are that uptight as to get upset over what people post (obviously in fun) about your hometown, maybe the Internets are not your bag. I moved here to Gardner from Wichita and I thought the Wichita-bashing was hilarious - mostly because much of it could be said about Gardner too. |

I was gonna question it myself last night when I got the email telling me about his post. But then I saw it was deleted and decided it wasn't worth it. Tom_b, you gotta understand that we ride together all the time so we know each others back ground and like to mess with each other a bit. Incognito knows I'm from Detroit. He knows I'm not a country boy. To me, wichita is redneck heaven. And for some reason he likes to tell me things about his wife. I don't think anyone is worried that you voiced your opinion. If anything, I was curious who u were and why u deleted. If ur gonna be out this way more. Let us know. I'm sure we could set up a BBQ meet-up and get you there so you can meet some of us. And on a side note.... Welcome back from the dead, duff! I try to get ahold of you but ur bunk-abs never answers! |

Tom_b: I apologize if you took what I was writing as insulting, it wasnt meant to be. My wifes entire family is from Wichita, and I catch crap every time I go down there from people who have never been there. And the phrase "Wichitard" was coined by my brother in law who was born and raised down there, so while that sounds insulting, its really not. Part of the reason that all the "white trash" kind of talk kept going, was because pretty much the first encounter Ratfink had down there was with a fat, tobacco chewing cop, which I thought was hilerious. Dont base your opinion of KC riders by those posts, because there was a lot more to the conversations that went on outside of the board, due to the fact that Ratfink and me ride together pretty often. I promise, were way more mature in real life than this forum might lead you to believe LOL. I cant say a whole lot bad about Wichita anyways, because ive spent a lot of time and holidays in Haysville and Peck. |

ok. I am going to rant... if a buell clutch cable is considered a "maintenance item / replaceable part"... why the F.U.C.K isn't fail's hd stocking them? Riverfront doesn't have any either.

we are beyond the lubing phase. cable broke off at the lever. the ball is no longer attached to the end. I was riding on Saturday and noticed the lever didn't return to the full "engaged" or full "kick-out" position. I pulled over to inspect it, and it looked stretched at the ball. I was driving home when it snapped. oh well, I will just order a new one. I am just being pissy because you would think one of the dealerships would have a freaking clutch cable in stock. Will it hurt my bike if i ride it with out the airbox cover on it??? |

inner or outer? I went for about 4 weeks without an outer airbox cover, and an open inner: no problems to report. that said, I didn't ride in the rain, or leave the bike outside where it could get rained on. |
