It won't be gawdy, but this year's hc will hopefully allow me to actually meet and talk with people a while. Last year was a blur. Now that I'm waukesha and 6 miles from Hal's, I'm looking forward to hanging out there. |

Sounds like there is more to do than time to do it . . . kinda the cool thing about Buell stuff . . . neat people doing a variety of things . . . getting together, sharing notes and hearing about each others adventures. . . . can't get any better than this. Early, late, now or then . . . nothing to keep anybody from riding into Hal's (it's a hop-skip-jump from the Buell factory) and saying hello and thanks to Bud for his Buell support. I can't wait to see the racing this year . . . and the chance to see old and new friends again . . . it doesn't get any better! There was a significant disturbance in the Buell Force late last night ( a very good one ) and can you imagine a Buell being used as a model for more efficient airlines? Seems foreign companies are taking an interesting in American Elf-gineering.

Skinner. I'm going to try to plan a ride to the Museum during the day thursday the 4th. HD has Thursday Bike Night at the Museum going on too. Where are you guys all camping? I will be at the site Ponti1 posted above. I will be in my second day of my trek out there on the 4th. I have no idea what time I will be arriving or what condition I will be in when I get there. When you have a time you are planning on going to the museum on the 4th let me know. |

Buell personnel said only 500 registered last year. But I think there were more than 500 bikes in the Buell parking lot. Hals has some SERIOUSLY cool plans for Thursday and Friday. But nothing concrete. But you guys will want to be here Thursday. |

Also, Hals/Brew City Thunderbikes will lead rides to the Factory, and back and forth from Road America for those that want to join us. I've got a decent route planned. http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.com/rideplanner /share/130771 |

I just made negotiations with the gal the other night for the rustic road run, and homecoming. If I get a day off, so does she. Tit for a tat, but I'll be there! |

Frank, the factory stuff is on Friday. And RA is Saturday and Sunday. You'll want to be here Thursday, if you'd like to do the "bike night" at the HD Museum as well. |

If you don't want to hit the Museum during the day, be at Hal's by 5. Its going to take a little bit of finesse to work our way through rush hour traffic to get the Museum. Steve and I yapped yesterday about this, we have a good idea on a route that won't be on the free way, yet shouldn't be too congested. If we get enough interest in the HD museum, I may try to time our visit so it ends as bike night begins. we'll already be down there, no need to make two trips from Hal's. The day ride down there will leave from Hal's as well. It only takes about 2 hours to see the museum, so I'm thinking stands up from Hal's by 1:30. |

Is anyone staying at the Sheraton, Brookfield this year? Last year it was the center of activity (and pretty good breakfasts too). My dog "Fred" enjoyed being petted by everyone last year. Is the Sheraton going to be the "place to be" this year? If not, where is everybody going to be staying? |

Hals got some better rates from the Best Western(right across the freeway, still on Moorland Rd), for $85 a night. Call Hals at 262-860-2060 and ask for Bud Curtis. |

Frank if you know when you are going to be hitting 39 in IL, I will be meeting up with Geforce and a couple of his buell buddies here where I live in IL and hitting 39 up the rest of the way. |
