Yes I did join the Navy. I know I know, how do you go from the Marine Corps to the Navy. But hey they gave me $10,000 for 3 years in the reserves. If any one has face book look me up and you can see the wonderful pictures from training.

Ft. Lewis Washington is a hell hole. We just finished 4 day Humvee training. Boring thats all I did in the Corps so it sucked for me.

Hi everybody. I jumped ship today and bought a new 2008 Triumph Sprint 1050, red of course.Probably pick it up Friday or Sat. Its a sport/touring bike leaning heavily on the sport side. 125HP 77TQ. Its not a Buell but i wanted something sporty and still be able to go on short trips in comfort. You know i am turning 62 on the 4th of July so i needed some comfort. Hope to see you guys sometime soon.

You know that is the bike that I have been lusting for! Supposedly they are suppose to be coming out with a 1300 version soon. Do you remember the guy at Aubrees named Henry? He is currently selling at 2005 Sprint for 5,000. I almost bought it.

You should go down to bike night at Aubrees all those guys are big in to Triumph. I will probably be up there the Tuesday after Memorial day weekend on my 10days leave.

Hardcorps. That sounds like a good price. I paid $11,175.00 O.T.D. for the new 08 with ABS plus i received $1,200.00 in accessories. If i have it next Tuesday i will go to Depot town of course. The bike looks good with the bags off which is the way i will probably have mine until i decide to go some where. I like the idea of it being very sport orintated but can also do long trips.

That's what i thought. I just knew it as Depot Town. I rode the bike home yesterday and it is definitely more sport than tour but that's what i wanted.

I won't be there because Mark is graduating June 2nd from Customs and Border Patrol Academy. I will leave May 27th and go down to my place in W.Melbourne,Fl. Drive up to Brunswick,Ga. for his graduation then head back home after that. When do you get back?
