Yeah, that was me, the drill before last. Or maybe this last one. I'm in the machine shop. I was a avionics traditional, but now am a tech in my new shop(lost my civ'y job to economy.) I think I remember you from M-16. |

Again, after I changed it started it up and idle really nice, I thought that did it. When I went to ride in yesterday morning, same old crap... I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm gong to focus on getting the 9 back on the road. Need a starter relay and a new rear rim. |

This past Saturday after Paul's most excellent ride, a discussion had begun about Buellfest this coming saturday. Has anyone planned a route to Fredrick this weekend? I was hoping someone would have a route planned or a time set to meet somewhere. Any possibility of meeting at a pre-arranged spot with fellow Buelligans or am I making another attempt at feline organization? |

Well, the bikes are here Got quite a few, including three or four 1125s (2 CR and I think 2 R's), a 9SX, 12Rs, 12Ss's, UlyX and XT, and a Blast. Both CRs have stock bars, though...but we do have one in our stock with the riser bars for anyone who test rides, and then wants to feel the riser bar "feel". Just a note for anyone planning on coming: DO YOUR ANTI-RAIN-DANCE. Weather.com shows hit or miss all day...grrr. |

Depending on weather, I think I'll probably zig-zag north from the Silver Spring/Wheaton area to Route 144 west into Frederick. |

I'm riding don't know if it will be on the X1 , if it might rain, that bike is harder to wash than the ULY. Anyone want to meet at the Forrest Diner off of route 40 in the parking lot this is right next to route 144. Give me a time! Maybe Supafast will show up or give me a call I can post the picture I don't work there so here it is......

Kathy I live pretty close to the Forest Diner. If things are a go for tomorrow (not torrential) I can meet you there. Raining like crazy in PG county right now. |

Ok, hockey's over, the bike is back together and I'm ready to ride. Like Paul said, we'll meet at Mischa's and go from there, I need to break in the bike again so that route will be perfect! |

The news at 6pm said that the rain tomorrow should be late afternoon. I will see you guys at Frederick. Have to cage it there, unfortunately. My wrist is still not too flexible yet. (sigh) |

Well...it's a technical course to say the least We're doing it right out in front of the dealership where everybody can see it. I've got all the cone spots spiked so we can reset quickly after a ride leaves at 11 am (a charity ride that was booked when it was "small", now it's hundreds of bikes). We open at 9, demos will probably start around 10, course should be up and running no later than 11:30. It's a good one. Joe H was running it as part of his shakedowns on the demo bikes; I designed it on my Uly; one of the parts guys was having fun on it with his VFR. So...pray for NO RAIN, and we'll see everyone tomorrow!! |

I come back here to check again in the morning before I leave the house. If you PM me here I will get it on my BlackBerry. Yeee ha a free weekend. Rat that course has to be pretty tight like 20 to 30 seconds? What you do on the Uly? K |

OK.. I'll say 9:15 at the Wegmans off Church road. I'll be on the 1125R. If no one is there by say 9:20, or I don't hear from anyone (I'll check here one last time in the AM) then I'll head out. Simple straight shot for me, up 7 to 15. Joe, make sure I have a place to put my pack as I'll have a few things in it.. See you guys there! |

I see the Forest Diner on the map - looks like a great place to hook up in the future. However, Okc99 (he should rename himself - at least temporarily - Dc99) and I are going to link up at the Exxon at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and University Boulevard at (ulp...) 8:00am tomorrow. We're going to blast north on Georgia Avenue and weave our way to Route 144, probably linking up at Long Corner Road (a mile or so west of Woodbine), then heading on 144 to Frederick. We'll look for any Buells passing... I was hoping to intersect with the gang from Mischa's in Alexandria, but it may not happen on the way up. Let's look for each other in Fredneck and schedule a route south! NO RAIN! |

Alright Kathy, see you at 9:00. If something comes up, or I'm running late (not a morning person) call my cell phone 410-336-2522. I'm packing the rain gear on the bike right now, just to ensure it doesn't rain |

BINGO, Thunderstruck! Pack that raingear! We won't need it until about 6:56pm tomorrow. Okc99 and I will be on two Ulys somewhere along your path. |

It was nice to see most of you again today. Sorry I missed Ras. I got to sneak a ride in on the CR as it started to rain during our demo ride. Kudo's to HD/BFR for hosting the event and Ratbuell for his (and I'm sure others) efforts to pull off this event! Hope to see a lot of you next week for the Res Ride in Altoona. Toona |

Thanks to Joe and the rest of the folks at Frederick for putting on the event. I have a good time. It was great to see so many Buells in one spot. Jose, Hope you made it home dry. I got soaking wet when I got to the WW bridge. It poured for about 10 minutes, after that it was sunny skys again. Tonna, good to see you. I plan on doing your ride on the 23rd. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 444936.html?1242514142 I plan on heading up on Friday if anyone else is going. |

You guys want to practice the 10 steps to cornering technology and help me practice coaching and riding the TC exercises I can post some free weekends. Ras go and talk to JP on HD of Baltimore see what he can do for you and your bike. K |

It was great to see most of my fellow Buell loving riding buddies yesterday at Buell Fest. Thanks to Joe and HDoF for putting on a great event and making us feel right at home. I posted the few photos I took here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/planethiker/sets/7215 7618354657062/ I must have really liked that Can Am Spyder that showed up late in the day. I sure took a lot of photos of it |

Okc99 and I made it up and had a good time. I tested the black (of course) CR - tons of fun...now I get why some people are calling for that engine to be in the Uly. It was a totally different experience, and thing sounds great, too. Unfortunately, it was a cramped ride with the stock bars and my long legs. I'll try the tall bars sometime. We hightailed it across the state to historic Ellicott City, a place I'd never seen. Pretty cool, especially the twisty road following the river. |

Yes, that is a roller coater - somewhere along I-70 in MD. Kind of like a good day on a Uly... |

Yes Tony...I'm *sure* it was the Spyder that caught your attention. The passenger had nothing at all to do with it It was great seeing everyone at the event. I wish I'd had more time to chat with folks, but they had me running around quite a bit and even pinch-hitting as lead/chase on a couple of the rides (I suffered through). I know we all had a good time, and I'm glad to hear so many folks who came also enjoyed themselves. Saturday was definitely the busier of the 2 days, but Sunday had its share of demos as well. I think we did 83 demos on Sat, and 48 or so on Sunday. No damaged riders, no damaged bikes - everything went perfectly! Thanks again for everyone who came out and supported us. I wish our order for the new gear had come in in time, but we've been seeing stuff shipped to Utah by mistake recently...I'll be sure to post when we get the new gear though! |
