Moving to Ventura from North Carolina and need a cheap room for a week until I can get in my rental house. I get to Ventura May 24th and my Uly gets there May 27th. I need a room from the 24th to June 1st. Anyone know of a real cheap Hotel, Motel, etc where my bike would be safe to stay outside at night?

Motel 6 always works for me. Ask for a ground floor room (with a straight shot entry from the parking lot so you can park the bike in the room - don't tell 'em that though).

Another thing you might do is check with the BadWeB BRAN (Bueller Rider's Assistance Network) which can put you in touch with local Buellers who might put you up for a while.

Do you have a car you're coming out in? You're welcome to park your Uly in the garage at my house in Long Beach until you get settled. I'm about an hour from Ventura (splittin' lanes, you're gonna love that part about Cali) but you are welcome to the space if that helps.

Sparky - Motel 6 seems to have the best price. I'll check BRAN as well, thanks.

Calidrew - Thanks for the offer but I need to stay close to Ventura or north. I'll be working in Goleta.
