And now for something not so hot ...
Let me start out with the conclusion, I won't be at SPLASH this year.
Life has it's ups and downs, and the past few months have been sideways. It has all the makings of a country song involving high
school sweethearts, babies, infidelity, divorce, lost jobs, destructive dogs, broken down cars, guns, prison and searing desert heat. It's really a song about my boys but I'm the only stable person, now ain't that scary. I'm not happy that I have to miss SPLASH, but I need to take care of family issues before they spin further out of control. Sometimes life happens.
I'm not trying to sour the mood, just wanted to let you know I can't make the ride. Looks like a fantastic weekend so carve up those roads and take some pics of the chaos. |

Family is always first Spudster! We will miss you.
But it ain't stopping me from saying "I am really going to miss not giving you a bad time!" We will miss you like an itchy butt rash....But that always comes back so we will see you one of these years. |

Meet at Horseshoe Lake in Woodland at 8:30 am take off at 9. Be gassed and ready to go. Bring lots of water!!!!

12:30PM and I just got in.
Super long day to finish a SUPER SPLASH.
We rode around Mt St Helens and then the Olympic Peninsula and Whidbey Island to get back to Vancouver.
Stunning scenery and fantastic roads.
Thanks again to Chris and Loni for all the extras you do to make this the Premiere event of the year.
