Hey kids, long time no post! I know I posted up in the fall that I was gonna be active in here now that I'd moved back to CT...but then I started studying for the CPA Exam and my life pretty much got put on hold. Hope all is well!
Anyway what brings me back is, does anyone have an extra set of XB_R rider pegs laying around they'd like to sell? Gengras wants $22 a piece for them! I've been meaning to pick some up since October due to scraping my XBS ones on the track sometimes…but I'm heading to Deal's Gap next weekend, so the pressure is back on! Shoot me a PM/email if possible please; Exam # 2 is this weekend, so I doubt I'll be checking the boards much! |

No ride for me this weekend...house work on Saturday and as Scotty so aptly pointed out...family stuff on Sunday...have a new mother in the family so it's supposed to be all 'extra special' and crap like that being my youngest sisters FIRST mothers day and all.

You're receiving this email since you have completed a Motorcycle Safety Foundation/Mass Rider Ed Program rider course
PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON TO A FELLOW RIDER THAT COULD BENEFIT!!! (it may even save their life.....at least some money)

The RMV and Governor's Highway Safety Bureau have received a grant to reduce motorcycle rider's injuries and fatalities.
The target audience is:
1) sport bike riders
2) the rider has never taken a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course
3) a rider that is still riding on a permit/does not have a motorcycle endorsement on their license
4) riders between the ages of 25 and 40, but not exclusive.
The first opportunities will take place in Acton on Sat 23 May or Sun 24 May.
The next opportunities will take place in Seekonk on Sat 27 June or Sun 28 June
The course is a one-day affair and will be held from 10a-6pm; classroom from 10a-12 noon, riding 1p-6p
To take advantage of this free (yes, free, but with stipulations), please call our office at 508-278-0172.
When you call we will ask for your contact info (name, address, telephone, email, date of birth, learner's permit/license number)
Finally, since we want to make this available to as many riders as possible and assure that the rider will attend, we will ask for a valid credit card number.
In the case that the rider does not attend, the rider will be charged $50; if the rider does attend, credit card information will be destroyed.
This course will be taught by expert sport bike riders and certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and the Registry of Motor Vehicles / Massachusetts Rider Education Program.
Successful completion of this course will entitle the rider to by-pass the RMV road test and receive motorcycle license endorsement, IF they have a valid permit and have paid $15 to the RMV for their license. Also, they will receive a course completion card from the MSF, which will entitle them to motorcycle insurance discounts.

We have been awarded sufficient grant money to serve only 48 riders, act early, as it will be first come first served

Preview of LRRS round 2.
The weather is looking more favorable. 62 degrees and partly cloudy with 25mph wind. I have also been drinking a lot more water since 2 weeks ago, and rode a supermoto day last sunday to stay in shape. I feel much more physically prepared then I did during round one. I am expecting a pretty good drop in lap time and a much better level of endurance. |

I pedaled from home today to early lunch at West river st. cafe' in Providence then east to Rumford for some off road by Slater park.Hit Armistice Blvd. then southeast thru Seekonk/Rehoboth and across rt.6 in N.Swansea Barrington,then home for about 38m  Time to 'elax |
