Well I will probably be out depending on the actual day. Sunday would be a probable weekend day for me to meet. I got too much wedding stuff each weekend. Its all mostly on Saturdays now, but of course its up to the group of when yall want to have it. I will see if it works for me when a date is set. But YES it would be nice to have a ride and gathering. |

Its a set of kooks custom headers, they used to make a full system and stopped a while ago. Its all 304 stainless steel, it made the most power of the exhaust systems i believe, or one of the highest. |

Sweet! +1 on ear plugs, but what can I say. After all I need them with that Jardine that I have on my bike, for long trips that is. Can't wait to hear this setup! |

Matt, Nice looking pipes, I'm going to have to dig out my "Ole Battle to win" magazines. I'm thinking they have changed their design. Is that 2" or 2 1/2". |

Charlie, Its the 2 1/2 pipe, so if its way too loud i think i can make a different muffler work. I doubt i will. Tree, it was a bit more than 50 bucks, Im guessing earplugs will be manditory now unless im just riding it a few miles down the road. Miros, why dont you just hear them in person! |

I did not go i assume you had to buy tickets not sure. but i'm still waiting for wheel bearings for front. i just had them replace the rear one's because i put a new tire on the rear and felt them and they did not feel good. then i had new tire put on the front and check the rotor for vibration and clicking noise.the wheel had 16 of a inch play from top to bottom lateral movement.sorry i missed you guys in suches but i had to call it . i was ready to go . how do you space out sentences |

Im leaving them be for now Charlie, unless you see a problem with that. I was going to have them ceramic coated this winter when i do other things to the engine |

Matt, If everything is stainless shouldn't be a problem. Keep an eye on the welds for rust. |

Oh my god... It sounds like a funny car now, all i need is a longer peice of stainless flat stock to make a new clamp with for the rear since it was an inch short, damnit! I cranked it up with just the muffler tightened, and it was impressive. I do have reservations about the system though, so for now, the bubs will not be for sale since they were not obnoxiousily loud |

Charlie, i got it mounted with the stock z bracket, forgot i had it since the bubs didnt use that and just bolted to the swingarm block. It sounds awesome! I didnt let it run much in fear of the neighbors calling the police though haha! |

Matt, Enjoy your new toy, you'll get tired of the noise soon enough. Having to push it down the street four blocks before you fire it up, to keep the neighbors off your back.Get your tuning all done, then hang them on the wall and use them for track days................or you could just move way out in the country. |

Matt, looks like you'd have room to add a much longer muffler to the headers if you wanted. That'd be one way to get the volume level down to a sane level without killing the performance. |

Think v8 with open headers for sound, it sounds tough! Hugh, theres not a whole lot of room left, the headers go back about halfway down the primary. |

ummmm.... My kickstand fell off in a parking lot yesterday. I turned around and picked it up but still had to lean the bike up against my boat when I got home. It is going to take 7-10 days to get the pivot arm bolt in to fix it. Dernem all. BTW Matt, it is lookin' good. |

Damn, that sucks man. After riding it, the noise doesnt bother me and its quieter at idle than my dads wide glide with slipons. Seat of my pants dyno says it makes more power now. might be time for some crossroads bars and lowering the gauges. |

Matt, Stop by one day and I'll show you the Dyno numbers on the Kooks vs the Buell Pro Race vs Vance& Hines. Nice photo's. If you do the Crossroad bars you might be thinking small tank again. |

Lowcountry just told me I can no longer just buy the pivot bolt for the kickstand. I have to buy the whole assembly for $67 something. I mean WTH? Buell has an individual part number and a price for that specific part and I cannot get it. I ride my bike pretty much every friggin day and it is pretty much unparkable without an operational kickstand. I am fit to be tied. |

That sounds a little screwy, unless they've updated the whole assembly. Maybe a call to Customer Service is in order? If you really can't buy the bolt by itself from Buell, try to source one someplace else, or see if you can get a machinist to modify an off-the-shelf bolt to work. |
