Great to meet some of you and really enjoyed the bench racing today at Dave's place! Wish we coulda planned a little better on our end and gotten there earlier, but kids have a way of doing that to yer plans I guess. The food was great, and the plaques were cool, and hey! I finally won something! Awesome! Have to do it again soon! We'll try to plan something up here next time, if any of you care to ride that far... lemme know.  | ||

It's ok Dave, I'm not stressin'! I just can't wait to get together agin soon, and hopfully have a little longer to hang out/ go for a ride! Your group seems to be right up my alley, and I would love to ge some road time in with ya. Are there any large get-togethers this summer just for Buellers? What is that thing called that happens at the factory over there in East Troy, Wis? Does that happen every year? | ||

I am debating between Homecoming and Sturgis. I have never been to Sturgis and this is the 69th year. I LOVE the #69 and want to get a 69th T-shirt really bad! Both events are the first week in August so there is a conflict. June 5th to 7th huh? We could tentatively meet up here on 4th, have some grub and a little rest and then make the trip over together? that way nobody gets lost, or forgotten, and we won't have to rush out! Not to mention a hot breakfast a warm shower, and clean clothes for the ride over to East Troy? Man it would be awesome to ride up there with that many bikes! Couldn't be anything BUT FUN!!!!! Let me know what your thoughts are and we'll plan this thing out! Suggestions? Issues?? Ideas?? Volunteers??  | ||

If Julie and I can go, you're welcome to come with us. We could even haul some gear for you. Money's tight right now, but we hope to be able to work something out. We'd be leaving Thursday the 4th, and heading back the following Sunday afternoon. The plan is to camp or hotel near East Troy or Racine Thursday night, go to the factory Friday, then camp at Calumet County Park Friday and Saturday night. The park's closer to Road America, and it's pretty nice. | ||

Thanks for the offer Ravensmith! I think we have the gear covered, but it is my wife's first weekend bike trip, so that could change by the time we roll out, so... maybe? Would like to meet up for the ride over though. Be a great trip if a bunch of us from Mn showed up together. Kinda helps with road hazards too! Put out the word and lets see who'll ride together.
