Ok y'all. Check it out. My wife and I really would love to shoot some of you...literally. We have a sheet of 10 free admissions and rentals at Paintball Atlanta that are due to expire at the end of the month. We're extending an open invitation to any of you local Buelligans who want to come play paintball for really really cheap. All you have to buy is the paintballs (and they must be bought at the field). If you went without the coupons it would be $30 plus paint, according to the coupons. We can do it on April 19 or April 26, both are Sundays. We can take 8 people plus us. Anybody got some aggression they need to release? |

Adam, Shelley and I are game. The 26th would be better for us, we won't have Natalie that weekend so we'll only have to get the grandparents to watch Nicholas. |

I've thought about building one of those but I'd planned on using an AK with a 75 round drum, a video camera, a couple stepper motors, a couple servo motors and the associated motor controllers. That would be cool! |

I wish Tony could get into racing. He has the heart just not the funds. He loves that little toy ,just about as much as his Gixxer. |

Hey Adam - I've meant to ask this way before now, but did your wife (Becky?) get to run in the marathon on the 28th? If so, how did she do? When she told me how long it was (26.5k?)she became my new hero! Atta girl! |

> We can do it on April 19 or April 26, both are Sundays. I know I'm out of town on the 19th. I'll check with the GF and see if she's up for some paint on the 26th. Will it just be us, or will there be a gang of 12 year olds there to humiliate us? |

Update since I was on last... Yeah Mrs. Glitch, my wife Becky did finish her marathon a couple of weekends back. I was really proud of her. It was a really cool thing to be waiting at the finish line and see her come around the bend onto the final stretch. Took 5:08 for her to finish, respectable for a first timer. In other news, I went down for the first time yesterday on Blood Mountain. My burnt up clutch was a result of trying to hog my Uly up out of the ditch that I decided I should take a closer look at. I was riding behind ChagertyXB coming down the mtn when we went to pass a slow cage, Chris had time but I was beside the van when I realized I couldn't make it before the upcoming hard left so I hit the brakes to fall back in. The problem was that I was on top of a big paint island where the uphill lane starts to split into two lanes. Hard braking + paint = OH S***! I lost my back end and couldn't lean it to avoid what was dead ahead...the ditch on the other side of the road. I superman-ed off as my front end went into the ditch. Landed and was ok, maybe doing 15 or 20 by the time I bit it. The bike end-over-ended and took the brunt of the impact on my Ventura Rack, rolled 1/2 turn and stopped wheels-down behind me facing the opposite direction, up the mountain. Some people stopped and helped me drag it a way down the ditch but then the last of my clutch was spent trying to get it onto the pavement. The real pisser was that the bike was totally rideable except the dang clutch. I lost the CeeBailey windshield, bent the Ventura rack and front brake lever, a few scrapes and a burnt out clutch. Not bad considering. Of course I'll have to do some closer inspection to be sure the front end is all good. I'm sore today but luckily nothing but strained muscles and bruises. ATGATT. Badweb and the 3% network saved my kiester, so MANY THANKS to everyone who offered help. Pete, a badweb BRAN member I had never met came and picked up the bike and we dropped it at a friend's house in Dahlonega. Super nice guy and a real godsend. I feel pretty good that I have my first crash under my belt now and that it was not more serious than that. It could have been ALOT worse. Lesson learned for sure. Stupid hurts. Does anyone around here have a clutch spring compression tool I could borrow? Paintball on the 26th then? Let's play! I'm ready to go Scarface on somebody! |

I lost my back end You weren't on the back brake were you? Glad to hear you're ok, that's the main thing. Motorcycles are replaceable, friends are not. |

Adam .. glad your ok. What Dave said, hardware can be replaced, friends can't. Your just not used to that faster black color yet. I'm in for paint ball on the 26th. Have a crew of 6 that want to go so I may buy a few slot's when I get there depending on how may people you get to go. |
