Hal's doesn't have a in house guy per say. They use TS custom's and now my Buddy will. Just got done prepping a bagger set for them last week. I wonder if TS custom's painted that one?? (Message edited by bads1 on February 28, 2009) |

Looks sweet Steve - Wish our dealership up here had half the dedication that Hal's does!! Every time I go into Appleton, the Buell stuff is moved to a smaller, more discrete area. There are a couple hopeful souls working there still trying to keep things going though. I need to hang out with your crew down there a little more if time permits this year!! |

Chad, you are ALWAYS welcome on our rides and events. In fact, I'll add you to our email list if you'd like. I just email out meeting notes(When I remember ), ride/event/meeting announcements. Hals has been GREAT as far as Buell support, and it seems they are getting better. Ryan posted something last week, that has now disappeared in to the archives, but here is a re-post... Daytona 200 Viewing Party So you might not be at Daytona bike week, but you can certainly catch the action at the Daytona International Speedway on TV, including a special Viewing Party here at Hal's on Friday, March 6th at 7pm. The racing action begins this weekend with the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) Pro Series- Thunderbike class. Many Buell entries will be battling it out this weekend, including our own Service Technician, Dan Bilansky (2006 Champion)! On March 6th, join us here at 7pm for the Daytona 200. Six Buell 1125Rs are entered in the Daytona SportBike class, which we will be broadcasting live on our huge big screen for your enjoyment! Shawn Higbee, a local favorite from Mukwonago, WI, is one of the six Buell competitors. Feel like you're in the stands when you come watch the race at Hal's! Fuel your stomach with some tasty track appetizers. See Hal's exclusive race-inspired 1125R painted Buell, win fun raffle prizes and more! And, in case you get that itch to race, you can go head to head on some Buells while playing our Tourist Trophy game. Remember, if you're looking for the real deal for your ride, make sure to ask us about Hal's Speed Shop's exclusive performance products. Let our long tradition of delivering added horsepower to Harley & Buell riders nationally for use on the street and racetrack work to your advantage! No ride? No worries! You too can own the corners when you swing a leg over a new Buell. Our Sales team has blowout pricing on all remaining New 2008 1125Rs. Your purchase of a new '08 1125R includes a FREE spot at Blackhawk Farms Raceway's Motovid.com track day! "Blackhawk Farms Raceway offers a full season of All Levels Motorcycle Track Days, combined with Visionsports Riding Schools to provide street, sport and advanced riders with an optimum environment to ride their motorcycles on a world class race track facility. Riders of all levels can test their skills and steer clear of the hazards on the street with their riding buddies in a controlled environment." Come hang out and have some fun with Hal's staff next Friday, March 6th during the action-packed Daytona 200 Viewing Party starting at 7pm! You're more than welcome to come on down Friday evening and join in on the festivities. |

Steve - definitely add me to the email list. As for the Daytona party, that I can't make because I have to go into work early at 7p. Working 3rd shift sucks, but it works out best for Melissa and me. May not work out on Friday, but I will for sure make some of the other festivities!! You're still "The Man" Steve!! |

I know Paul James rides a Uly, and lives in Waukesha. Not sure if it's him. You'll PROBABLY meet him if you do the track day in April, or the Spring Slimey Crud Run. SUPER nice guy. |
