Well for right now the back pain has mostly subsided but the muscles seem to be really tight. The hotub and walking has actually been the best therapy i could ask for right now. ABout 10 yards into a normal paced walk the pain /irritation almost immediatly goes away. After about an hour of soaking in the hot tub i can actually move freely...hey i can even put on my own socks now...ha! (Message edited by lazyj on March 03, 2009) |

Is anyone thinking of going down to Miller for the AMA/WSBK races? It's the last weekend of May, with a trackday to follow on the Monday. |

Yeah I know a couple guys going. http://www.boiseriders.net/forums/index.php?topic= 5585.0 THIS IS FROM DAVE THE OWNER OF BOISE RIDERS: Last week, I contacted one of the sales reps at Miller Motorsports Park (MMP) about a group discount for the WSBK / AMA Superbike double header to be held on May 29th - 31st and found that we CAN get a group discount. Full Weekend Pass w/ Grandstand Seating & Paddock Pass Standard Price: $147 Discounted price: $137 Full Weekend Pass w/ Paddock Pass but w/o Grandstand Seat Standard Price: $102 Discounted price: $92 Number of People Required: 20 * there will be some ticket master fee I'm sure because that's how the world works these days. When I get home, I'll find the pricing for single day access but the 3 day weekend pass really is a great deal, even without the discount. In the past, buying a grandstand seat for two days was as much as the weekend pass so even if you can't make it on Friday (practice, some qualifying, racers hanging around a bit more than other days, ect), its still a good idea to get the weekend pass. I'd REALLY like to have everyone order together so that we can get a GROUP of seats which makes the whole experience a lot better. I'm willing to coordinate the cluster if everyone can pay in cash or check but a bunch of credit cards would make it a HUGE pain unless CC users paid me via Paypal and added 3% to cover the service charges. What say you: Can we get 20 people? Can we get organized enough to get a single group of seats instead of being scattered in various stands and rows? People Who are In Like Flynn Name Seats Paid Hozhead 1 N Stubby 1 N Tanman 2 - Maybe N |

Well boys, I'm now Buellless. I pains me to say it but, I sold it today. I still plan on picking up another when the time is right. The new ownner is named Chip, a really cool kid. So if you see the bike out and about don't run him off of the road thinking it's me. Anyone need/want any riding gear or Buell stuff, I've got a decent amount of both. |

Bummer Mike, but I don't blame ya. Although I love how the 25R rides and the power it has, 6 months in the shop is rediculous... |

its ok mike I'm sure my old bike will still be for sale when you go to get another on...HAHA! And its probably easier to convert it to a lightning rather than going the other route... |

Nate, is your bike still in the shop? What the hell is taking so long? J, actually its worse. The Bolt has all the electronics in the nose, with a Lightning front end on you lose any space so you have to put it all back in the tail. Oh, well though, I'll be getting a salvage one this time. For smiles per dollar its tough to beat. |

Yep, well, not still, it was in my garage for 2 weeks ... I called service and said it had more issues (I had told them several times before, but I am starting to get irritated so made them make a list). Day they came to pick it up, battery had died again after only 3 days off the charger, for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. I told service I don't want to see it until it is %100 fixed (mirrors cracking since weather got cold, dead battery issue, clunking front end, missing decals from engine swap) I am tired of all the issues. That was 3 weeks ago, haven't heard from them... Been in my garage a total of 3 weeks since last Sept. (Message edited by c4bird on March 12, 2009) |

Nate, I was having similar issues last summer, one call to HD customer service solved that problem. this year I did all the preseason and 10,000 mile service myself, even picked up the com cable and software. I was a bit pissed when I found out how easy a TPS reset was. Took 5 minutes to complete. Now even have access to the fueling maps for the injection. total cost 40 bucks. |

J, how much did they charge you for the TPS reset? wasn't it like 140? |

Before the new ass-raping prices they charged me $30 for the TPS reset, not to bad at all. Nate, Have you looking into them buying your bike back? With that amount of down time you don't have anything to show for your payments. If you haven't already talked to Marieanne Taylor at the dealership, do so. She is the Service Operations Area Representative, not to mention a Buell owner and super cool chick. I'm sure she will do anything she needs to to make this right for you. |

No, I wasn't sure who I could talk to on that. Service guy just keeps saying they will do what ever it takes. If I don't hear from them by Wed next week, I think I'll give her a call. Thanks Mike |

Yeah it's not the service that's the problem really, they may not listen well, but have been doing everything I asked for the most part. It's the 3-4 weeks waiting on parts to come in, as well as there being 8-10 problems so far. I'm not totally alone, seems there are quite a few owners with all of the same issues, with the exception of the engine. |

Since the other Nate can't post on here this is what he says about the matter: Since I can’t comment back to the BAB tell C4Bird Idaho has a Lemmon Law, 7 problems in the first year of ownership and the dealership has to make it right, restore the purchaser to their original position. Some dealerships attempt to buy bake the vehicle at it’s KBB value, which is way lower than the original price, but as far as I know that’s now how the consumer protection was set up. |

I know with our ford warranty issues... if the vehicle has been in the shop for an extended period of time. its best to get in contact with the ford fixed opps rep themselves... would that be mary ann for buell mike? The dealership can only do so much. keep in mind.. a dealership is not actually the manufacture. they are still a glorified wallmart selling malt o meal. To make any real head way you need to talk to a rep from Buell directly. most times the dealership can put you in contact with the rep or even better have a meeting with the rep, you and a dealership service manager. that way the dealership can say everythign that has been done. If you would like to keep the bike, many times with ford they will make a few of your payments to cover the vehicle down time. so if you have had the bike a year and its been in the shop for 6 months. they will make 6 months of your payments for you. if you want to pursue the "lemon law" approach... you will def need to get in contactwith the rep first and exhaust all possibilties before hand. trying to atually get your money back claiming the "lemon law" is very hard. both the dealership and the manufacture will do almost everything they can to prevent you from doing so. it can get very ugly. then again, buell may be very different in those regards. im just going by my experience working at a ford dealer. just for your information.... more importantly!!! anyone wanna play some poker sat night? saturday the 21st that is? having a game... let me know if ya wanna show |

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it! I'll definately give buell a call and see if I can at least get a few of my monthly payments back. I have a co-worker who tried to lemon law a chrysler minivan a couple years ago with no luck, so I have my doubts about it working. But some sort of re-imburse for not having it for so long sounds like a possibility. |

Talk to Marieanne. Then talk to Buell Customer Service. They really do want to help, and 99% of the time they will. |

Chad, once I actually take a pic of the new one, then maybe I'll change it. The good bar ends went with the bike. I do however have a cheap Third Eye one that you can have if you want it. |

It's the brand name. Plastic body, glass lens. They are what was on my bike for a couple of years. |

I will have to take a look, one of mine got shattered by a rock. I stopped by cycle gear, they had a great pair of billet for 50. but they did not spread enough to grip the bar tubes. do you have both of the set? how much do you want? |

Glad you like it Tim, Has anyone remapped the new ECM's? I have read they can relearn the fuel mixture when the exhaust is changed. Do they still offer the race ECM for the newer models? |

I wish they had a good map for the older bikes, I was going to start evaluating the stock maps and see if it can be adjusted for the altitude and maybe a better smoother ride. |
