First ever HRH power play Poe's Pub to Pungo we can run route 10 back from Richmond through Suffolk with the appropriate detours and run the Pungo loop backwards starting on Battlefield Blvd. I t will be a long fun day. Just a thought think about it and post up. This Sunday is susposed to be perfect. |

Well...depending on wife status, I may meet up with y'all at the McD's just to have breakfast and B.S. for a few before y'all roll out...then head back this way. At least I may get to ride for a few minutes! Of course, this all depends on the inbound midget. |

Hey Mel, How did you get out? Anyway, I went out with the Marines and some Sailors in my shop. We rode out by Elizabeth City and back again. It was a good ride. I opened it up this time and got up to 120. Wow that felt good. Anyway, the bike is up till the parts come in, I need new tires now. As always, I look to the experts, from the forum. Should I stay with the same Pirelli Diablo's or get the Corsa III that it should have come with? |

I've run both now, and I think for the durability, I've returned to the Diablo T's. The Corsa III's were great in the Mountains, but they didn't seem to like my high mileage Interstate travel as much as the Diablo T's did. I averaged little more then 5K on each of the T's and only got a good 4K on the Corsa III. But, if I knew I was going to hit the Mountains on a regular basis, I'd stick with the III's. |

The first HRH power play ride was a complete success approximately 350 miles of fun and sun. I would recommend this as a Spring or fall run because by the end of the day in full gear it would be a tad warm. Tank Thanks and to those who missed it, YOU MISSED IT!!!! Go to Buell.com and print off your free tire gauge coupon |

+1 You Missed it!!! Thank you Mike! David. If you are looking for performance, the Corsa III's are where it's at. Plus not too bad for mileage with the triple compound rear and double front. Not being a fan of "mileage" tires, I am really impressed with the Diablo Stradas the the XT came with. They have 3k on them now and look to go for another 3k, and have never given signs of being even close to letting go. Nice tires! |

David I'm on Dunlop Qualifiers 208, they heat up quick and are sticky, but I'm told I ride like a girl. I only get about 4000-5000 miles before needing replacing. I may be a little premature but I do like have good tires( they are worn pretty good before I replace them)just installed my third set of tires in less than 2 years. |

So far I have to double check (I am in TX) but I am over 7000 miles and this will be the first change. So I am just seeing what if I can get more out of any other tires. |

Mike, I don't think the Weekend Rides section is a good forum area to talk about your problem with being premature...hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...just kidding... Dave, I haven't changed my tires yet, so I can't help you on this one, bud. |

Anyone interested in a Knott's Island err/Pungo Loop on Saturday Meeting at SSHD @ 9{00 Estimated mileage 150-200 miles, There will be some boring connection sections but we will run the technical section of Pungo twice(West Neck to Morris Neck) once in each direction and will finish back at SSHD |

The Knott's Island Ferry/Pungo loop was a good ride. The transition from the ferry to the twisties was a bit longer than expected, about 40-45 miles, but we found a new twist by mistake. Douglas Rd. it runs between Benefit and Rt.17. It is a real nice road. We cut the ride short for food but if we continued back to SSHD i think it would have been somewhere around 180-200 miles ad about 70% of that the good stuff. Thank to everyone that showed up and we will have to do this on a warmer day when more people can make the ride (Message edited by S1wmike on February 22, 2009) (Message edited by S1wmike on February 22, 2009) |
