I lowered the headlamp assembly and mocked up the clubman bars tonight, just ziptied 'em in place for now, i need to get some aftermarket fatbar clamps to mount em up permanently.... (Message edited by billetmetallic on February 08, 2009)

I got my risers at Bob Lamps Honda just down the road for $49. The brand was 'Fly' and they had a few in stock. I really like that set up, you beat me to it!!! I had mocked up some pics of the Blast with a CR front and planned on converting after I ordered my tires. I was gonna post them here but they are cut and paste, literally, so quality isn't that great. Well done.

thanks thump! i'll go check out bobs, i found a set that one of the sponsors here sells, precision engineering, they sell for 69 but they have two extra drilled and tapped holes on each mount for gps, phone, ipod, etc... im thinkin i could use a couple of those holes for support brackets for the headlamp assm. and the others to mount my gauge pod, now if only i had the dough!

I've added handguards to complete the "city-x" low look. I think I'll call it the xb12scgcxl . Do you think it's enough letters and numbers? http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/2LTB_YuPgcD_Q -EondH2DA?feat=directlink (Message edited by thepod on February 13, 2009)

It ended up being my down payment on my 06 Xb12Ss. But it was a great first bike 60 mpg and had some get up and go for a 500.

Yes, It's perfect for her I didn't ride today. My jacket is getting the zipper repaired. Maybe it's a good thing...sounds like the conditions were not so great

I hope some of you guys made it out today it was real nice. I made it out for about an hour and tested a video mount on my passenger foot peg. A little shaky. I will see if I can get the video posted up.

Actually took me three try's to run that road to get just a few minutes without a car. one of the times I was stuck behind a some I-4's that were going way too slow. Going to try it again tomorrow. Got to find a better road so I can get more then 3 minutes of uninterrupted riding. And one without gravel.
