Hey.. Joe.. With CABO we talked about helping out with the demo's IF need be. Sooo.. Feel free to call on us if need be (not so sure what the regs are regarding Buell fanatics leading/meeting greeting/ potential Buell newbies..  could be a positive thing for everyone.. Or it may terrify some folks.. Hmmmmmmmm...) Man, I can't wait to ride some.. this weather has been killing me (that and a broken mirror but that's another story.. ask me sometime.. hehehehe) We need to gather the clan for a track date this year. Could be a lot of fun to get the bunch of us together and have some all day riding lunacy.. in a controlled (ok, semi controlled) environment..  | ||

The expo is free and its huge and a lot of recruiters will be there. If yo are a gun enthusiast there will be a lot of tactical weapons there too. K | ||

Pete - trying to figure out how to get the monthly meets to actually happen this year. We tried last year, as you know...then I went and hurt myself and nobody at the dealership took my place to keep folks coming. Keep an eye on your mail (both E, and paper) - I've got a ton of ideas, just waiting for the OK to send 'em out  If anyone local wants to be on our mailing list, PM me with your email and snail mail addys (or email me at work, jgoetz@hdoffrederick.com - that way they don't see me on badweb at work, lol). Joe.. I don't see it at the Buell page.. mebbeee your web master type didn't get it put up yet.. And I'm now awaiting what you've come up with .. as I plot my photo jobs (all but one race weekend that CCS is putting on in the area) at Summit, VIR and now NJMP... But I'm still amped about getting the group together and getting everything 'rolling' so to speak. | ||

Kay.. As for a 'club' logo.. well.. after the mess that kind of went on with the naming and first logo attempt, well.. We had some good ideas, and some not so good.. We just couldn't seem to get it all straightened out (I think a few tangents came up and as always away we went with them..  ) I think maybe a couple of us should just sit down with someone (Carlos maybe?) and brainstorm, let this person (artist type) come up with a couple of ideas based on what we toss out and then after they are posted, I'll take a vote (like I did with the name) and that'll be it. After all, if you knew how hard it was to get - Capital/Chesapeake Area Buell Owners done, you'd understand what I'm talking about. (Must have something to do with living too close to congressional offices and what not) Then, we can help Joe put the 'screws' to his side of it, maybe get those guys over at Ole' Glory back in the fold and we can prove that there is a viable Buell Presence in our area .. and yes, we're going to have fun with it .. Damnit!!  }} | ||

Hey all, No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth and if things go as planned you'll see more of me on the road and this board as well. Logo: several were submitted, none were agreed upon. Do we need to revive the logo thread? Sounds like it... I'm liking the Red Pegasus with the stars logo, have to work on the wording. Hey Rasmonis, We have the Lets play the name game under CABO general info now everything is still there. Lets get at least 5 votes on your logo and get it up there. Go to share your favorite rides and see posts on thinking about getting together to ride Highrock, white's ferry loop. I posted my free weekends there to hoping to make this ride. I know the Fort Washington guys meet once a month we could ride down there and try and get CABO on the board. What do you guys think on the work Kristi did with my help on this board. Do you like it? Does anything need to be changed? Added? speak up! K | ||

I have no artistic skills whatsoever, but how about the Buell pegasus logo with the DC 'circle of stars' logo as the pegasus' eye? IIRC it's a circle of red small stars around a larger white one, yes? Just a thought... | ||

Ft Washington Buellers, The plan right now, is that we will meet at Ft Washington HD, this coming Saturday. I won't be there long as I hope to be picking up the Shiny Beast at Winchester (if they have the turn signal). Next time I recommend Misha's in Alexandria. After that, maybe Frederick or Battley's. Give it some thought for Saturday. I look forward to seeing you all. Be there or plan to spend the rest of your life discussing how cool those skull foot pegs would look......in other words...be there or be square...square? Cubic! | ||

Black (and others) - we still want to try and have a regular gathering here in Frederick. HOG is fourth Thursday, 6-8...we could schedule something similar for Buell, weekday or weekend. Send me ideas so I can take 'em upstairs!! My thoughts are - rider clinics tech clinics track days - upcoming, and recaps race team updates GPS track sharing - we've got a BIIIIG projector screen hooked to a PC, we could swap tracks and stuff ...and plain ol' breeze-shooting, of course Lastly, we could bounce ideas for events like sportfest. We like to think we have a pretty good idea of what folks like, but it's always nice to ask 'the folks'. Just in case. (Message edited by ratbuell on February 03, 2009) | ||

I'd be up for some Buell-type riding. The easy kind though. I'm on a reduced risk plan until July. Can't get hurt before that. K, only scraped the pegs when I turned. hehe. And it didn't stay shiny for very long. I've seen that Audi commercial several times now. All I can say is: if it were a Buell commercial, I bet the Audi would've had traction control problems instead. Sucks that they dumped two of em during the shoot. Still pretty cool though. | ||
