FYI- I now have a ECM SPY cable for my Palm TX. I need someone with a 03-07 to test it out on (Paul?). It will not read my 08 ECM. |

Hey guys, I made the Polar Bear Ride(swim). Myself and four others completed the papa bear route. The 1125R did great, but I missed the handguards from the Uly. So when you check the pics, the Buells were represented and the first bike to show up. |

Wow. Dave I am impressed. I though about it but my gear is not true rain gear and I would have been as drenched as a drowning cat after two hours. See you guys tomorrow at 10:00 am |

Found my problem. It was a spark issue. I had 48 degrees in an area that I should have had 30 Degrees. |

I got the Palm to work with ECM Spy. I had to change my communication bps speed settings. All it will do on the 08 is read ECM flash version and retrieve the eprom but can't not read it afterward. Anyway another tool for on the road. |

Was there a Doc Wong clinic today? I went to Lanphere at 9AM and nothing. Was it 10AM? Was it cancelled? |

This is the building you want to meet at. This time of year you would only see cars and maybe a couple bikes. Its right on Cascade ave between Bob Yamaha and Paradise

Hey all.. Mark, Shoot me an Email of last months notes, I'll add what I have and get them posted. Wonk Clinic went on. First time that I have been there and NO ONE rode in. Andy took the month off and Chris did the lecture. January is cornering confidence, and it was a loose discussion starting on SR's and then discussing how we trigger them by not being confident in the turns. With a few tips on how to gain confidence. Aron, I'll test the data logging on that palm for you soon |

It was really nice to meet you guys at the last meeting. I look forward to good times and helping the club grow. I will be ordering some new tires for my Blast this week. I'm still looking for a cheap way to get them changed. I will probably end up paying the $50 per wheel somewhere. I wanted to powder coat the rims while the tires were off, but I can't figure out the details. Not quite sure how to store bike with the wheels off for a few days. I heard that some car jack stands with some re-bar works but not sure.... Also plan to re-jet my carb and try to work out some idle issues. A little air box mod and iridium plug should have her running more smoothly. I am not very mechanically inclined, so it may take a little bit more effort than most. |

If you take the wheels in off of the bike then you should be able to find places that will do it for $25/wheel. That's what I pay at Hillsboro Motorsport. |
