Got the bearing pressed on and the races seated. I have the stem installed on the bike and found that the bearings are a different style than OEM. The seals seem to fit in a different way causing the steering nut not to thread on as much as before. Well, all it can do is come off as I land a wheelie right! Hopefully more parts tomorrow and we'll be riding come the weekend. NUTS Turtlehugger, yeah, I know you're avoiding my calls but I have the info you requested and they also dumped trout today. Tankster, gettin the DR up to snuff? |

Nope! Too many other projects right now. But I am watching your progress closely! My worse-case is a bent fork, but hopefully the trees are just slightly out of alignment. Gotta get the jeep and yeller prepped for MB, and the ol' miata desperately needs mucho attencion. I'll get to the DR eventually. |

What do you need the Jeep for? You have an XT with all the trimmings, are you going to take the 9sl instead? I need to finalize my plans for MB. All I know is, I'm going and taking Hucklebuelly. And I owe someone a Guinness when I get there. NUTS |

Yep, Packing the SL and Mikes S1 in the trailer, and setting sail on 3/22! Staying for the week. Planning a 2-wheel trip to Deals Gap Monday or Tuesday, and trekking about the Beautiful GA mountains until the rest of the party decides to show. Home base is a large cabin. You in? Plenty of room early! |

Nuts, I'm not avoiding you good buddy. I've been ridiculously tired and run down for the past several days and have pretty much slept for 18 hours a day. I'd like to go to the farm this week as we discussed if I can ever get over whatever it is that is making me so tired. With the weather being crappy give me a day you think might work for you. |

Turtlebuggerer, Looks like Friday might be a winner. The Mrs. has to work late and I'll need to give Pops' a hand for about an hour installing some carpet. I haven't got a wind forecast yet but hi-lo is 43-28. Zero rain chance says weather.com. NUTSY |

Tank, how far is the cabin from TWO? Are there any open spots for Fri, Saturday? What's the cost? NUTS I think the Turtlehugger might have hacked up a kidney; brother is incommunicado. |

Jackie, Hope you get to feeling better, no fun harassing Nuts if I don't have a cheering section. I was complaining to my younger son about the cold temps for tomorrow and the things I needed to get done and he just laughed at me(he's in Minnesota)it's like minus 30 or something. I guess I can handle one day in the teens. |

What's the chance of NUTS having two treestands stolen this year? I went to the club this morning to remove my 15ft ladder stand only to find it wasn't there. The hooks I have for my bow are still 18 feet up in the tree but the rest is gone. I've lost $300 in stands this year alone. Maybe I oughta take up racketball. |

Sounds like you have a local trying to exercise his grandfathered status on your hunting grounds. Not living there makes you an outsider whether you own it or not.Had this problem when I lived in Buchanan for many many years. |

Nah Charlie we are wide awake. In fact we just got back from an afternoon squirrel hunt. Didn't see much but we did have a good time. I'm waiting for Nuts to tell you about the 155 yard shot I made on a squirrel. It was the pinnacle of perfection. Ole' Nuts did end up getting a battle scar on his rifle and I felt bad for him cause I've been there. After he got done crying he calmed down enough to continue the hunt. Hows things down yonder? Did your alligator freeze his tail off during that cold spell? Did you freeze your tail off? |

Jack, The Ole Gater must have buried down real good, haven't seen him in a couple of months. It's going to be in the 70's today, maybe he'll start to move around a little. Congrats on the great shot, those memories are great for a life time or Mad Cow which ever comes first. |

Jack, winds are supposed to be 10-20 mph tomorrow at the farm. Whatcha want to do? NUTS It's 44 degrees today and I'm going riding. Suzi Q is all cleaned up and I'm going to cover the bottom of her in wd40 to help keep the salt at bay. We're going gravel hunting. |

Nuts, I guess squirrel season is going out with a whimper instead of a bang. No sense riding all the way up there to look at empty trees blowing in the wind. Have fun cleaning that highly destructive, metal eating, bike destroying de-icing mixture off of your ride! Charlie, You ever try to catch that thing on a rod and reel? I know its illegal but you could always say you were fishing for some big ole'catfish and it was a mistake. I bet he'd give you a fight of a lifetime course holding him up for glory pictures might be a bit problematic. |

I sort of know a guy who used to throw 4oz egg weighted line with a monster treble hook on it over the backs of gators. Guaranteed way to see your line snap or be stripped off the reel in record time. Finally dawned on this guy that heading out to the everglades with 110lb test monofilament is kinda obvious. Though I'd try to pawn it off on Burmese Python collecting this time. I mean him, that guy would. |

Nuts, Ask your "friend" what the fine might be for getting caught doing that. If its not a large amount I may have a "friend" who could keep your "friend" company next time he tries it out. WINK WINK |

Where those guys are going, winking could lead to more unfortunacies. Hey, let's just go noodlin instead. I've got the license and I think I'd rather have my arm gnawed off by a muskrat. I've only got one brown eye and I certainly don't want it turned blue! A bit much, maybe? NUTS |
