only a matter of time before he puts a lowering kit on it and the bed is cut out with a hydraulic pump in there for the suspension along with those tail pipe ends that kids like to put on their cars and so on and so on. good luck glitch jr. and be careful. next to miami, i think atlanta has some of the worst drivers. jmo. |

Well this is my first time on the web in over 2 weeks. I have been keeping down food for two days now, taking it slow though, don't want to mess up and end up back in the hospital. Congrat's Collin on your truck ,I wanted a truck for my first ride, but my dad said I had to have a car a ford escort to be exact, man i hated that car. Everyone thank you so so much for all the help and well wishes, for me and my family. Phil and Alison thanks for keeping hayden, also a big thanks to deadduck an family thanks so much for keeping hayden as well. To the buffington family thanks for feeding and taking care of both my favorite men! |

Glad you're feeling better Sam, if there is anything else we can do, please ask. Nice truck Collin! For future reference, you don't have to cut out too much of the firewall to drop a V8 in that bad boy. And while I'm on the subject, a buddy of mine down here in Stockbridge will take your S10 and transform it into http://www.1939studebaker.com/Album-WILDER-For-Sal e-Fine-Wine.html for around 25k |

A small block in the S platform is a lot of fun. A buddy of mine and myself put a built 355 in a 2 door S-10 Blazer, slammed & shaved it and spoiled many a sports cars day leaving the lights. I have been thinking of a LS6 for the little blue truck in my driveway, but I dont have the time or money so I will just wait for the new camaro. |

(*wink*) It is good to see that you have enough energy to post though! I'm going to assume this means your head is upright instead of puking in a bucket. You had us all worried there for a little while. We seriously got to work on getting you healthy & staying that way! We need a voodoo spell or an exorcist or somethin'! Anybody got any chicken feet or pig's blood they aren't using? |

The crash bike's going to Jennings with me late tonight or early tomorrow morning, I'm afraid. I should've left already, but it's just so freaking cold out there that I don't even want to go load the truck. I was going to load up last night, but I didn't want to leave the gixxer outside in the 11 degree weather without any anti-freeze in it. |

Whew. I left for Jennings at 3:00 AM this morning. I took two naps on the way and made it about 8:00 AM. New year, new suspension setup, new tires, and a new best time (1:33). Tomorrow I fully plan to shift out of 3rd gear. |

I think I'd have knocked off some more time if I'd been able to spend a few more sessions following the instructor around, but he cracked a reed valve on his two smoke and spent the morning rebuilding it. We planned to go out in the afternoon, but rain moved in at lunch. I still had a great time in the morning just chilling out, shooting video for people, and practicing lines. Here's the Ugly Bikeling in action:

HA! Looking good one the frankenbike there Matt! I SO want to get in a track day at Talley this year... I don't know if it fits in the budget yet though. They are doing one on my birthday next month, but there is no way I can pull that one off. Any of you guys know where I can track down some suspension measurements for sag and what-not for an 05 XB9S? Or would the measurements be the same for an 03 9R? A couple of guys that I ride with were setting up a track bike, and we were going to check mine out, but the only thing I could find was for an 03 9R, and an 06 12s. |
