12 or 1230 is kind of late to be heading up to Showlow. Mapquest says it's 1 hour and 40 minutes to Show Low from Globe, if we leave Globe around 1300 hrs, we get there around 1430, eat lunch, probably leave around 1530 - 1600, and get back to Globe around 1730. That's pretty late to start heading back to Huachuca, you might not get home until about 2100hrs. It might be best to give your wife a few more hours of shopping, and get some brownie points in, then cutting it short to go riding with us, and end up riding home in the dark, and cold. There will be other days, that may be warmer, and dryer! John, If you think you can make it, I'd like to head out abut 10AM, and be back around 3PM, give me a call if you can make it. well i sent in my preregistration forum for the next race, i hope everything comes through to cover the costs. should be there saturday and sunday on the east track. i hope everyone comes back out again to visit and hang out. | ||

just so everyone knows firebird raceway has switched tracks on us, we will now be on the east track which is the first entrance into firebird. the track is the one closest to i-10. once again i want to thank everyone for their support and contributions.-andrew | ||

I haven't been on here lately to know whats going on but stopped in to say hello. Lately the weather been great to ride to work @ 130pm! At night on my way on I suit up and its just as nice at night. I love the way people look at me like I'm crazy to be ridin because of how cold it is but actually im really warm with all my layers of clothes! Whats up Bart! Haven't talked to you for awhile. It would be nice to have a Buell meet every month. | ||

Phil, Good to see you posting. Did you finally get your S2 sorted out? You should try to make it out to Firebird raceway on Sunday. Andrew, the service writer from Arrowhead will be racing, and there appears to be a decent crowd of Buellers planning on attending. | ||

Its almost sorted out. I have to get the bike resmogged again in January. I really don't want to have to pay ramjet again. They messed up the adjuster screw which ill have to get another one. My speedometer fitting at the wheel will rattle here and there, I need a front rotor / pads, and I still need to get that VOS switch. Other then that shes running great! Ill give you a holler if I can make it this sunday. You guys ridding out there? | ||

i just want to thank everyone for there donations and support out at the track this past weekend. the races didn't go as well as i hoped with only one good finish and one ok finish. the first place in supertwins was nice to get as that is usually my toughest race. thunderbike didn't go so well with a bad start and getting stuck behind some slower but hard to pass riders and then missing a downshift resulting in a unintentional off track excursion.the good news is i didn't go down(internal monolog was "this is gonna hurt") and managed a 6th place finish. we'll get them next year. thanks again. |
