Frank, I have some problems with my good leg, probably from my accident of five years ago. I had a procedure the other day, so I'm on light duty : ) for a couple more days. Major surgery is more than likely coming soon.

It was nice to see Jeff and John last night.

We were wondering where everyone was?

Barnie's hot chocolate was perfect for a cool night of riding.

I like Barnie's atmosphere a lot better and think we should switch back there. If people want food there's pizza, subway, Chinese and publix. Beer can be purchased from Barnie's or we chip in a dollar and buy a six pack.

I'm sorry I've been MIA guys. I guess next Wednesday is out since it's Thanksgiving eve.

Just a LOT going on in my life and it doesn't include my bike for the moment (it's sitting here in the warehouse as I haven't had a chance to get MaryAnn to bring me over here on the weekend to get it).

FYI!!!!

I did my 5k service this weekend and discovered 2 wire harnesses (about 1 inch from the connector to the ecm) were chaffed. Further inspection proved the harness was coming in contact with the seat which was rubbed smooth. It seems this is common on our bikes since there is no direct tie down for the harness so over time the harness will vibrate up causing contact with the seat.

I plan on securing the harness using a zip tie and shrink wrapping the damaged harness area.

I won't be able to make it this evening... prior commitments at Valencia. Besides, the bike is still at Seminole Harley waiting on parts. Hopefully, they will be in today & I'll have the bike back tomorrow or at least for the weekend.

Any recommendations for getting the steering head bearing replaced on my bike guys? I have the part and every good intention of doing it myself, but simply don't have the time. I'd rather not take it to the dealer.

It kills me to have it sitting in the garage and not be able to ride it.

To add a footnote to Mike's: They are offering 30% All Buell in-stock gear as well. Picked my bike up Friday, had a few more minor problems but the bike's back up and running. I don't think Ken likes me very much any more.

Does anyone really care what Ken thinks? Had Mike been in charge of the old Buell shop they would still be open elsewhere right now. How many potential customers did he scare off?
