Fixed my mirror today. Pooched it when the bike fell over after a rain. Got called into work, as I was going to detail it, but I made some money. Almost caught up. Figuring about 2 more weeks and I'll be on top of the game again. Hope you guys had fun tonight. Sorry I couldn't be there. We'll get together soon. | ||

We had five Buells down at Holiday Park today off of 27. Two 1125R's, two M2 Cyclone's and an XB. It was pretty kewl meeting up with some other Buellers like that. Its not often you run into another Buell on the road. | ||

Anyway, been pretty busy lately but hopefully landed a good job in addition to the detailing. In The Buff Detailing is in full-swing now(although dead slow) and I am in the process of getting business cards, flyers, things like that produced, so any help or ideas you guys have would be most appreciated(like info on local shows or friendly businesses). Also, I have taken sole-ownership so if any of you guys want some work done let me know, just don't let price get in the way I am more than happy to take care of my friends.Today was the first day in 3 weeks it didn't rain and I couldn't take the bike out. Oh well, least i still got it. Some guys tried to steal it a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get through the lock so they got pissed and high sided it over the stand, but that's a whole other story and I have already typed enough to make you guys sick.(305)510-1466 always willing to take a ride....  | ||

Nice to hear from you. I stopped by HD on Thursday for the 105th and didn't see you, was wondering if you were ok. Still delivering pizza. Working part time, paying bills, but not much more. Haven't had the Buell out in ages, since I got the FXSTC, it has definitely become the favorite of all my bikes ever. Still like the Buell, but need a good excuse to ride it. It was much easier to justify it when I had the RKC. I might be selling it in a while, depending on how much I still owe on it. Heck, at least the payments are current, so I can't complain. Good to hear from you. BTW, thieves should be hanged. Then buried deep in the glades. | ||

Logged some miles on Sunday. Myself and two other Buellers. Holiday Park, cruised 27, did some laps around the airport and then lunch. I parted ways with them and did my own thing after lunch. All in all a great day for riding. Hot as hell, especially all geared up. | ||

Yeah, I saw something goin' on as I drove by and wasn't sure what that was, but it doesn't matter you wont be seein' me there again. I'm sorry I thought you knew. I got fired back in May. Jeff-the parts manager set me up with a forged credit card receipt and they are still fighting me about unemployment; but I got proof to fight their crap, although it's almost impossible to fight any business in Florida. Whoever pays the bigger taxes you know. We all gotta take a ride. I have wanted to cruise Holiday Park for a while now. I've never been there, believe it or not. Hopefully these last 2 days mark the end of the rain streak we've had and the worst summer period for everyone person I know. | ||

Did the Key West poker run yesterday. Hit the road at 2pm and didn't get back home until 3 am. There, hanging around for a few hours and back in the same day make for a long ride. Coming back in the middle of the night with the moon overhead was awesome. It was a nice ride coming home. No traffic, kool and awesome scenery coming over the bridges. The bike ran flawless and smooth the whole time. 1K miles now since the rebuild! | ||

the City X is holding up great....had the battery go out on me a few weeks back, went to the peterson's south stealership and got bent over 10-ways til sunday on a new battery, but i can happily say the bike is starting without the slightest hiccup and runs flawlessly... Just picked up some royal purple synthetic so i will be changing the oil out on the engine and primary | ||

That's great; matter of fact, thurs nights we get together at (betty's burger shack) or some new name they gave it. it used to be fuddrucker's. it's on 104th and US1 in the KMART shopping center. we get there between 8 and 9. other than the weekly cruise'ins we regularly take rides together and few of us live in that area. we would be more than happy to meet up some time! -chadd | ||

As Scarewolf said, we might up at Betty's Burger Shack for the Thursday Bike Night hosted by Peterson's Harley/Buell south store. We usually grab a bite elsewhere afterwards. Come check us out and we park all our little buells and Mikkie's impostor Sportster together like a high school clique. | ||

Glad to hear all are doing rather well. Been riding nothing but the Victory lately. Still have both Lightnings, though. Working this Thursday evening, but I will try to make Fudd's (Betty's) next week, to catch up. Maybe I'll even ride that orange Lightning for a different feeling... Anyone hear of anyone wanting a tuber, I still want to sell the "plain jane" for about $3500. The monster is in the shop in Ohio, getting breathed on still. I hear I may actually have it back soon... I did the one day flip flop for Peterson's also, went down on Saturday. I had to be back by midnight to pick up some folks from the Miami Airport, so my time there was a bit limited. Took off the fairing for the run. Really nice, but NOT the right timing, should have kept the fairing in place until after the run... | ||

i have heard about the thursday meets. i am still getting the GF used to riding on the streets. we may run up this thursday on my bike. mule---yep, i have the white bolt. i am glad i didnt' sell it either, i decided to sell my car instead. Harley is buying MV Agusta. http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Jul/080711b.ht m Wow. Could start seeing them in dealers here, or maybe start seeing Buells in MV dealers. Got the Buell on the charger. Trying to maybe get it started, which hasn't happened in a while. Still gotta check the oil, and make sure the gas is ok, even though it was treated. Will keep you posted. |
