had a great time with everyone last weekend. unfortunately, when I got home Sunday night I found out that my plant will be shutting the doors the first of December and I will be out on my ear for Christmas. Interesting times these are. |

Ouch, that sucks Steve. I'm glad they at least waited until Buelltobefest was over before they told you, so they didn't wreck that too. |

That really does suck and it may be just the start of things to come. So many people are losing jobs. It is so slow at work. I just wish things would turn around for all of us. |

We can relate to your anxiety Steve. At the very least, you got a bit of a notice. (I guess you can bang the dents out of that silver lining.) We'll keep our fingers crossed for you. |

Stephen, join the club. Sorry to hear it. Sometimes though, losing your job can be a blessing in disguise. Make sure you steal as much stuff as you can before you leave, too. I need a stapler. |

Hi all, Regarding "exhaust valve actuator" problem, let me assure you that is not simple problem. Like yamaha`s EX-UP system , Buell exhaust valve work the same way.My xb12scg 2008, had the same problem.Service engine led light up , backfire ....etc. Engine scanner say " exhaust valve open". Wow! Big problem because the dealer sad 1 month for replace that spare part, and I said OPEN THAT box and try to fix it. And we did it. Open the actuator electric body and surprise,it was blocked on open position. After an simple manual rollback I reassembled it and now is working fine and the bike too. It worth to try.... The Question is ??? Jardine EXHAUST )) Let me know. |

I have a message for all of the ladies here in 3%er land. I want to bring something to your attention... for two reasons. One. October is National breast cancer awareness month. When was the last time you had a breast exam? If it has been over 1 year, it is time to schedule that TODAY. DOIT... DOIT. Two. The Tyson family got a backhand from life this week. Yesterday I learned that both my Mom, and my Sister have invasive breast cancer. My Mom's cancer is somewhat advanced, as she has neglected to get her exams for the last 5 years. She now has cancer in both breasts, tumors the size of golf balls, and is headed straight to chemo starting wednesday of next week. She says the doctors are telling her that she should be fine. But I have to wonder if she is just being a Mom and trying to protect me from some worse prognosis. She has been aware of lumps in her breasts for the last 4 years. My Sister, on the other hand, is very adamant about her breast exams, and VERY vocal about breast cancer awareness. She takes part in the 3 day walk in Atlanta every year, and raises a lot of money for the cause. Her cancer was found early, and her doctor is going to discuss treatment plans with her next week. So, ladies, get out there and squeeze a BOOB! Or heck, teach your Husband, Boyfriend, or Girlfriend what to feel for, and let THEM squeeze yer Boobies! But for God's sake... get checked.. squeeze them good, and squeeze them often. (this is not a joke... just me trying to put some levity on this situation.) http://cms.komen.org/komen/index.htm Thank you. well said Ratyson, sorry to hear about your families run-in with breast cancer and I hope all turns out good. I will be willing to bet there is not one 3%er male here that would have a problem with squeezing some boobies. |

Russell, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I'm sure C-Land is a place you and Melissa are tired of visiting, but if she is any judge of character within the women in your family, your mom and sister are going to be rockstars. Whether she knows it or not, Melissa was a BIG help through my treatments. All my best and thanks for posting the "feel your boobies" message. It's time for more people to SAVE THE TA-TAS!!!! |

Sorry to hear that, Russ. Modern medicine is a fantastic thing, though, and I'm sure they'll both be fine. |

Hey Sanchez, if you think about it, can you try and catch/remember the name of the Horse Riding place just up from there on the right side of the road? I have some friends that wanna go riding and was telling them about the place but can't remember the name. |

Thanks for all of the well wishes! It really does help. I actuall got the idea of doing a fund raiser for Susan G. Komen. Shave your head for boobies (I think I posted that in the quick board). So I contacted my local barber shop (Rooster's Mens Grooming) and the owner is all for it... Then I got in touch with the morning show DJ at our local rock station Rocket 95.1, and he said he would be glad to help too! I think I just set myself up for a LOT of work... lol. I just hope it is successful. |

Russell, sounds like a good idea. I say, think big, go national. Yea, I know it is easy for me to say that here on the sidelines, but your idea has a lot of potential. Does this mean I'll be getting my head shaved? Well I do have that Buell hat to cover my ugly knotty head and keep it warm. Thinking good thoughts for your mom and sister. |

Ratyson - I saw your post over on ADV, didn't realize that was you, till I saw it here. I hope your mom and sister do well. My mom has breast cancer, too. If it's the right kind, as her's is, they have wonderful drugs to treat it. |

Cancer is tough. Just about ever women on my mom's side had breast cancer. They all survived it. On Betty's side of the family no cancer at all. It is strange how it effects different groups of people. |
